He didn’t want to see the scars. Wren grabbed the comb from where Kia had set it. He stared at it and thought back to how Jackson had worked the tangles out of hair. How Jackson hadn’t just cut it all off, even if he’d briefly mentioned it. How Jackson had been careful not to pull too much on the strands. He dropped the comb and got dressed. He’d let Jackson comb his hair again. He’d let Jackson braid it. He’d let Jackson do whatever he wanted and maybe Jackson would let him keep the beard.

Hughes chuckled and said, "You must deliver some pretty intricate haircuts." Carey shook his head, "Actually, I'm pretty old-school. The typical haircut at my shop has the customer in and out of the chair within fifteen to twenty minutes. I don't do shampoos or any of those elaborate styles because I typically have too many other customers waiting for a simple haircut. Beard trimming and razor shaves around the ears and neck are about the only options that I offer customers." Hughes stroked his chin in a melodramatic questioning gesture that had Aphrodite rolling her eyes. He asked, "Then what would motivate a customer such as Mr. Justice to hang around your barber shop for hours?"

Jordan's POV I quickly changed from suit to a black shirt and jacket. I messed up my hair while looking at the rear view mirror. Zach is beside me, watching me as I tie my hair in a man bun. "Do you think I need a haircut?" I asked Zach while looking at my reflection. He quickly nodded. "Yes, sir. I think you'll look more presentable if you get a haircut." I paused and stared at him. Really? "I shouldn't get a haircut, then."

They are standing quietly in front of it, when a loud voice called Wade. “Wade,” the man’s voice was deep as it echoed in the parking lot. Mr. Wilson is a big man, in a way that he’s both tall and quite meaty. He has a huge belly trapped in the trousers of his suit, complete with a beard and polished hair. A girl is clinging onto his arm, and his steps are big as they hurried, quite practically waddling to approach them. Klyde can see the way the girl s struggling to keep up with his stride with her stiletto. He internally winced at it; he can only imagine the pain. “Mr. Wilson,” Wade greeted back. Just then, the elevator opened and they all stepped inside.

That was better. And so he signed. The company needed this deal. His foundation needed it. There was no room for personal preference. Daphne leaned a bit too close as she signed her part, “Nice working with you, Mr. Wade.” His jaw tightened, but he said nothing. Daphne stared at him and she couldn't help but admire his striking charm. He looked so enigmatic in his black coat and his always tousled hair, as if sleeking it, was a bore to him.

This is my new life, a life I’m looking forward to. I must have dozed off because I’m awoken to Wade sliding into the seat of the bath next to me. “Jeez, how hot was this at the beginning?” I shrug noticing blood on his face; it’s not his. There’s also some in his hair. “If you tried to wash the blood off before, you failed,” I muttered cupping water and washing his hair and face. “Sorry, I thought I got it all.” I shrug again, as long as he’s dead I don’t care. I lean my head on Wade’s shoulder. “We don’t have to do anything tonight, It’s been a strange day.” he mumbles, slipping his arm around my back.

Quinn said, pointing to the edge of the bath. Cade sat down gingerly and waited. He’d never been shaved before. He preferred a light stubble, which he maintained himself when he was performing, feeling it gave him a rakish look, rather than the boyish one when he was clean-shaven. He was always carded when he shaved and, at twenty-three, he’d had enough of that. He’d mentioned that to Quinn, who had hummed and assured him that there wouldn’t be a hair on his chin when he’d finished. So, ignored him then. Cade wasn’t sure how he felt about this, but the thought of Quinn’s hands on him made his dick harden. Quinn pressed a hot washcloth to his face. Cade closed his eyes, feeling the heat seep

JOSH POV I check my appearance in the hotel’s floor length mirror one last time. I just had a haircut in preparation for tonight’s date… hopeful date, anyway. I have it styled short on the sides and back with a little longer on top. Several of the guys on the team say it is a soft, modified version of a high and tight and I can’t disagree. I don’t like my hair long. Never have. It makes my helmet sit weird if it’s too long. That’s a distraction on the field that I don’t need. So, I’ve set a haircut schedule to every three weeks and that seems to be the perfect interval to keep it manageable.
