Chapter 61 Jace POV I've been walking to and fro in my hotel room for I don’t know how long. And if only the door can talk on how many times I set my eyes on it, maybe it will scream loudly to my face to stop digging hole on it. I've been waiting for my friends Kyle and Mason, if my computation is correct, they should be here any moment. With fingers’ crossed, I hope and prayed harder that they will bring with them a piece of good news.

But he didn’t even see me for once. I was waiting for him for weeks, but every night I slept alone and he didn’t even come to see me. I beam at him, and he rolls his eyes before leaving. I pray he doesn’t return it, so I can happily toss this into the toilet and flush. I sit down and pick up the novel ‘When star burns by Ninya Tippett’ on my desk, continuing from where I stopped before I got interrupted. Books such as these make me believe in love and that everyone would find it at the right time.

I had not read the fourth page before.
