YOU WAITED

YOU WAITED

Before I can say anything, I notice him stop in his tracks and turn his head to look towards me. Not wasting any time , I place my book right on the couch, careful not to miss my place and rise to my feet, I start towards him and hold my breath, hoping he won't just pass me by. I almost sigh out loud in relief when he doesn't and remains where he is.

Be prepared for different levels of emotion. Interesting storyline that will have you crying at times. There’s also some humor. However, the book has grammatical errors that needs to be edited. Love the ending - very different, but good.

I really loved this story. so many twists, it was confusing especially when Keith asked for a divorce he didn't really want because he loved her so much and rescued her. It had a very happy ending. So worth reading.

Rejected By Him; Claimed By His Crazy Brother

Rejected By Him; Claimed By His Crazy Brother

IXORA POV The air had that hush again. The kind that comes right before something breaks. Not loud. Not obvious. The kind of hush that slips under doorframes and curls around your ankles. The kind that waits. I didn’t know what pulled me out of the house. Maybe it was the sun slipping too fast behind the trees or the silence pressing too tightly against the windows. Maybe it was the stillness in the living room, too heavy to breathe in. Or maybe it was just me tired of waiting for the world to make sense, tired of the way my own

, and does not hide. "I do not want to hide us," I say. "Not anymore. But we do not owe them a show either." He exhales. He exhales the way a man exhales when he has been holding his breath for a long time, the way a man exhales when the answer is the right one, the way a man exhales when the woman he is dating has just said the thing he was hoping she would say, except he was not going to say it, because it had to be her answer, and her answer was the right one, and he is exhaling because the right one is the one he needed.

My Prince Alpha Beast

My Prince Alpha Beast

A phenomenon that is new to all of them. Most of the pack members were unaware of what they were waiting but for the four people who were dreadfully waiting for the unknown to happen, it's the longest time of their lives. The four have been holding their breaths watching the flake sway its way down but taking its time to touch the ground. Erra froze, waiting, but suddenly flinch, realizing something before the flake completely falls. "Narrah!" she exclaimed loudly, pushing everyone on her way towards the door. Ignoring the curses from those she pushed aside. She reach the door but abruptly paused with wide eyes. ****😳😳****

Just A One Night Stand

Just A One Night Stand

My lungs refused to take in air as each step took me to the man waiting for me. All my eyes turned to me. They could have been faceless for all I cared. In those brilliantly tense moments, I didn't see or hear any of them. Not the important business people from Makalov Incorporated. Not my acquaintance from the ballet. Not even Aleksander's aunt Annika beaming or his uncle Nikolai smiling from the front row.. I had the most handsome man in the world waiting for me at the end of the aisle , stretching further and further away. Time crept slowly as if miles separated us. My lungs burned from the lack of air while forcing my weak knees to take each step.

ECHOES OF DESIRE

ECHOES OF DESIRE

She worked through the afternoon with the tea going cold beside her and the amber light shifting across the floor as the hours moved. Outside, the city carried its ordinary weight through another ordinary day, unaware of what was being planned in a warehouse that smelled of old metal and the specific hope of people who had decided to keep going. Echo was warm at the edge of her awareness. Present and patient. Not pushing. Waiting, the way it had learned to wait, for what came next.

The Third Room [MxM]

The Third Room [MxM]

With him, it was hard to tell where one ended and the other began. "Desire doesn't always announce itself," he was saying. "Sometimes it just waits. Watches. Finds the smallest crack and waits for the weather to do the rest." Noah let the words blur. He was flipping through the assigned novel — a thin, creased paperback with an unsettling cover — when the door opened. The room didn't go silent. Not quite. But it shifted, like something under the surface had realigned. They walked in without speaking. Elián first this time, head bowed slightly, notebook already in hand. Adrian followed — expression flat, gaze straight ahead, movements unnervingly smooth.

An Exchange of Lives

An Exchange of Lives

It felt as though a relentless specter was haunting us, sending us into utter despair. An ominous feeling clawed at my mind—this wasn't over. With trembling hands, Hope got up and accepted the shoebox-sized package. Her face, distorted by terror and unease, turned to me several times. But in the end, she picked up a small knife and cut open the tape. The lid came off. Instantly, her eyes were filled with terror. Her face drained of its color, twisting grotesquely while her chest heaved in frantic gasps as though her lungs were about to collapse.

Stopped Waiting for His Mark

Stopped Waiting for His Mark

The snow almost buried him alive. The snow stopped on the eighth morning. Julian crawled out of the snowbank. His lips were purple, but his eyes still burned with fight. Just then, a black SUV pulled up to the building. A sharp-dressed man stepped out. It was Alpha Marcus, the strongest Alpha in the North. He held a bouquet of rare Moonflowers. They only grew on the highest snowy peaks. The guards quickly opened the doors for him with wide smiles. "Alpha Marcus. Healer Quinn is waiting for you upstairs."

Let Me Go Daddy, I Am Engaged To Your Son!

Let Me Go Daddy, I Am Engaged To Your Son!

I had done this with every choice I made, every time I went back to Victor, every lie I told and every secret I kept. The sun went down. The house grew dark except for the lamp beside his chair. He was still reading, the book nearly finished now, and I was sitting on the couch with my knees pulled up to my chest, waiting. I didn't know what I was waiting for anymore. An explosion. A confrontation. Some kind of release from the terrible pressure of his silence. But it didn't come. He just kept turning pages, and I just kept watching him, and the night stretched on forever. Is this my new life now??
