Wake Up Boss Novels & Stories

For the first time in my life, I couldn’t have been more grateful for an email from my arrogant boss. “Is that from your apartment again?” She asked. “No,” I pushed myself out of my chair. “It’s from Mr. Calloway. He wants me to meet Sara for more details about the project.” “That’s amazing!” she gleamed before pulling me into a tight hug. My body relaxed before I even realized it had, as though it had been craving genuine human contact for a long time. I gave her a light tap on the back. “I really need to go. I don’t want to get fired in less than three days,” I said sarcastically.

See you tomorrow sir. I bid a goodbye to him and went off the office. I am so happy that I got the job!! I went straight to my apartment. I took off my clothes and change into a comfortable one. I had my lunch and watch my favorite movie in n*****x. ******************* Morning came, I drove off and went to the company. I met the secretary and he is a man. He instructed me on what to do. She tell me about anything to know. He's a nice guy. He showed me my table, it is in the same room of my boss in his office. I put my bag and things on my table. We went to the refreshment room where the coffee and snacks are. He told me to make a coffee every morning for Mr. Smith. I have 10 minutes more to

one of his men pointed out and the boss nodded his head and began typing in his phone. "Tomorrow it is then. It's already late, let's get some rest and wait for millions" "Wait for our deaths you mean..." Hikaru whispered silently to himself as he shut his eyes and rest on the chair, waiting for a short death as well. A few hours later, the sound of clamorous gunshots was what woke him up as he roused with a jolt. "What's going on?" The boss catechized, his voice vibrating as the sound got ostentatiously and louder.

The only one who still treated me like a human being. I answered quickly. “Hello?” His voice was low. “Ma’am Ella… I shouldn’t be calling you. I could lose my job for this. But you deserve to know…” He paused. “The boss… he’s finally woken up.”

"Weird" You must understand it is a compliment in this world. And then he looked directly at me and I nearly fainted. I inhaled sharply, so sharply that I started choking on a fleck of saliva. As Vanessa patted me on the back, his eyes lingered momentarily and then they left me. He showed no recognition on his face and in that moment After I had recovered from my embarrassing coughing fit. I was overcome by two very strong emotions. One was relief. Sleeping with your new boss is not the kind of thing that looks good on anyone's resume, not to mention the awkwardness it creates around the office.

he said before hanging up and giving me no chance to reply. He seriously meant it when he said I was on the clock 24/7. I heard a notification sound from my phone only to realize it was a message from my boss. DEMON: You have 45 minutes. That did it. Now I was running around like a headless chicken trying to get ready to see what my boss could possibly need from me on a Tuesday night after 8. But nothing I thought of was actually right.

"Wasn't he supposed to come next week?" Isabella put away her phone and lifted an eyebrow. "If he's here, then he's here. What are you so pointed about?" Isabella caught a whiff of perfume from Zoe and added with a dry laugh, "You even put on perfume?" Zoe Finn giggled playfully. "It’s about making a good first impression. Come on, we need to hurry back to the office." But Isabella replied, "It’s still our break. Even if our new boss is here, we don’t need to sprint."

"The boss wants to see you " He yelled at me above the club's noise. I scoffed. "The boss" was one hell of an arrogant man. “I’m not interested.” I told him, waving him off. Jessica overheard the exchange and rolled her eyes at me . “Girl , we're not asking you to fall in love with him , just get laid and get that asshole off your system for a bit.” I hesitated and looked in the dude’s direction . His eyes were still on me ,though an interested smirk now tipped a corner of his lips.

Doesn’t breathe unless it’s to say, “Fix it.” I once watched him fire an intern mid-yawn. Mid-yawn, people. The poor girl hadn’t even finished inhaling. It’s 1:57 a.m., and I’m still in the office, because my boss doesn’t believe in “after hours.” He believes in “Hailey, the shareholders’ deck better sing like a BTS chorus by morning.” I’m hunched over my laptop, eyes burning, when I realize my espresso machine has given up on life. Much like me.

“ Whatever, you can go in now. The boss has been waiting for you in his office” “ He wants to see you right now” A little relief as she walked in to meet with her new boss.
