How was I supposed to get through a magic class when I couldn’t even light a candle with my mind anymore? Walking into the dining hall felt like stepping onto a stage. The room was immense, with a high, vaulted ceiling that showed a swirling, star-filled sky instead of stone. Four long tables stretched the length of the hall, each buzzing with the energy of its house. I saw the Luneris table first; it was the loudest. Twinkling string lights are woven artfully among the branches of towering trees and trellises, casting a soft, intimate glow. At the center of this enchanted garden stands a beautifully set table, draped in pristine white linens. Two chairs sit side-by-side rather than opposite one another, inviting closeness and connection.

Taylor smirked. “Then let’s play something I can play.” Taylor thought for a moment before saying, “Dice, then. It’s easy. If you’ve got hands, you’re qualified. Pottery was neatly arranged on the table. In the center stood a large deep bowl intended for soup, in which lay a ladle, next to four flat oval dishes, on which game and snacks are usually taken out. Two jugs with narrow long necks and carved handles immediately attracted Yarsi's attention. And ten plates, arranged along the edge of the table, next to each lay a spoon, four of them were quite small.

As I follow, I begin to hear music that sounds like a harp coming from behind two evergreens up ahead. The wolf is following the music and leads me to a large clearing where there are no trees. Up ahead, I see something glowing and it looks like a stone table. What is that doing all the way out here? Entranced, I walk towards the table and the wolf disappears into the forest. When I get in front of the table I can hear it calling out for me to touch it.

Dylan POV. I wandered the corridors straight to the lunch hall. All the people I would normally hang out with we're all mated so I grabbed my lunch quickly, and sat down at the end of the human table. Let me lay the lunch hall out for you. On one side of the room you have two long rows of tables, with simple benches that make it look like prison, on the other side of the room you have multiple round tables with fancy chairs. Yup you get it. The humans sit at the prison tables and the wolves and traitors sit on the fancy tables, they get fancy food, fancy drink and most importantly they get pudding. what I would give to have some pudding.

He turns slightly pulling the plate close to his chest, in feign shock. “For us. Clearly, he doesn't trust me alone with the cheesecake. I follow him around the corner and find a few wrought iron chairs and tables. Wade makes his way to the one closest to the woods and we take a seat. I immediately dig in before the cheesecake plate hits the table and Wade laughs at me, reaching for a fork which I hold captive.

The number of unmated wolves in America astounded me, and sent fear coursing through my veins. Tons of long buffet style tables lined the outskirts of the giant tent, a plethora of food set on the tables called to me seductively.
