The three then take a seat around that small black triangle table. “May I ask something?” Alfi asked. “Sure,” Kartika replied. “Why is the room like this? We look like hanging out instead of having a conference.” Alfi asked. “This room adjusts itself by the sum of people who use it and since it”s just 3 of us, the table adjusts itself that it looks like a table you find on fast food restaurant,” Kartika explained.

"Not anymore." "She left something," Wren said from the doorway. Everyone turned. Wren stood at the threshold, not crossing it, her hand pressed to the back of her neck with her eyes moving across the room in that particular way of hers, tracking something none of the rest of us could perceive. Cassius’ POV~~ Second day of the conference. We were all sitting down on a fur-covered couch behind a sturdy, rustic table crafted from weathered wood adorned with intricate carvings of wolves, moons, and ancient symbols. The surface of the table was scarred and worn, bearing the marks of countless gatherings. The tables’ legs are shaped like tree trunks.

She leads me to a room that Wade hadn’t shown me on the tour. Inside was a banquet hall. Floor to ceiling windows let in a generous amount of light and paintings of horses, trees and wolves hung on some of the walls. Wade is already seated at the head table. There are smaller tables around, I guess this is not just a family meal, this is a pack meal. I inwardly groan thinking how much acting I will need to do to satisfy Samual. I walk over to Wade and purposefully sit on the outside of him so I’m further away from where I know Samual will sit. “You did pack a dress.” He smiles, “You look stunning.”

A knot forms in my stomach, though. “What do you think?” Sydney says as he reappears, motioning to the tangle of metal sprawled out before me. A large, rounded table sits in the very center of the room. On its surface, the planets of our solar system slowly dance around our moon. I step toward it, gazing down at the stars etched onto the surface of the table. “Sydney, why didn’t you tell me your family had something like this?” “Can you use it?”

Lana stood in front of me in the line and looked around enthusiastically. "Look at those big tables," she said, pointing towards the few twelve-seater tables. "There are only three of them. Those three tables belong to the three captains and their close followers," she whispered in my ear. I looked at the people sitting at the table and saw Victoria seated at the head of one of the large tables. However, the head chairs of the other tables were empty, as there was no sign of Draken and Ares in the canteen. I let my eyes travel across the hall. The tables were different sizes, holding different numbers of chairs. The largest held twelve. After that came tables with ten chairs, then eight, six

"Hurry, before other visitors occupy it first." I nodded my head in response to Hailey's words. Without saying anything, I immediately left the queue and walked towards the empty table that Hailey had pointed to. This table is not too big than the other tables and is only in each corner of the room. Both sides are directly attached to the wall, while the other two sides have wooden benches with quite nice carvings.

Charlene and Jessabelle walked around the large dining room with porcelain plates held firmly in their grasp. They wandered on opposite sides of the vast mahogany table that stood proudly in the center of the wide room. The crystal chandelier above their heads caused the dinnerware to gleam in the bright light.

I was hoping that would change soon. She leads me into a room where there is one long table that fills most of the length of one of the biggest rooms I have ever seen before, it must fit at least a hundered people on it and it was a beautiful wooden table that had suttle wolves etched into the wooden legs, the chairs matched it perfectly with red cushions placed on them. A huge chandelier was hanging above the middle of the table. No one else was sat at the table and I was slightly dissapointed that Sawyer wasn't here.
