Farok, Alpha of the Diek people of Walik paced his bedroom. He was supposed to be working, planning out his strategy. It was a cold world out in werewolf territory, and the moment his tribe seemed weak, or a little uninformed, the neighborhood tribes would have a field day with them.

The house looked like a room for aiding the wounded. “They were attacked by the brown werewolves you’re saying,” Convel explained. “You are fighting your kind?” It is still new to me, I never heard werewolves fighting each other. “Aren’t your kind doing this too?” Alarick asked without looking at me, he is looking at the werewolves who look like patients being treated by healers. “Our tribe is full of hunters and we never had internal issues.” I proudly said as I am trying to figure out why they brought me here.

Thoughts ran through her head as she listened to the loud rumbling sound the thunder made. She remembered something, something so dear to her heart, the cruel manner her parents died. She remembered it like it was yesterday. Her father was a strong werewolf, so strong that he could control people's minds just by staring at her, her mother, a witch. She was strong in her own way. A great battle broke out and their survival rested on their shoulders. The responsibility of defending their town Crimo, which was later renamed as New York, fell on them. They fought with a fierce spirit but they were overpowered.

"Only the attire I choose." Then, his hands went to the waistband of the remaining denim, the material now slick with my sweat. I felt the awful, sharp tug as the jeans were ripped clean off my body. I was left trembling, gasping, my skin feeling raw and impossibly exposed in the vast, cold room. He climbed over me, his chest heaving, his eyes burning with a dark, triumphant fury. He was no longer the charming suitor or the vulnerable husband. He was the monster who had remembered his birthday wish, and now he was collecting the cost.

It's a good thing that it didn't rumble like a thunder and other people's voices around us covered its sound. "Oh, then let's go over there." Jake smile and gestured the three girls to go over the place I pointed out. Right, Jake is the best. Jen and Meryl and Ari are the best. Adrian is a little bit the best. And the other one, Maxwell? I don't really like that kid. Tsk. *** "You really suck at this, aren't you?" I sneered at Maxwell who on the other was struggling to play with the claw machine we saw in front of a convenience store, along the way to the bus stop.

"Yeah. Let's move on from that subject. What's your wildest dreams?" I thought for a moment, "Like actual dreams when I'm sleeping, or like what I want for my future type things?" He shrugged, "Both." "Let's see, when I was younger, I had this dream that cows were coming out of the lake and would raid my family's cottage and eat all the people. So now I'm afraid of cows, and I'm totally not a vegetarian." Connor laughed a bit loudly, earning a glare from the librarian. "And I really want to go skydiving and take some of those really cool pictures people have."

He enjoyed the attention. “I’m tired of keeping the boy in the dark,” I said. “It’s for his own safety. Zach, there are werewolves and vampires in this town. Rafael is a blood sucking vampire.” Rafael’s face changed, veins lining the skin below his lower eyelids became visible, gray-ish under pale skin. He opened his mouth wide, flashing long sharp fangs at me. Hannah screamed, standing and pulling Zach into her arms. She staggered back and made him stand behind her.

"Yeah, I did. So back off. My husband wouldn't be cool with this." His face dropped. Like actually glitched. Just stood there, stunned. Dana, clutching her baby bump like it meant something, put on her soft, tragic voice. "Claire, you don't have to punish yourself by marrying a freak just because you're jealous I married Michael. I won't feel right about it if you do this." I frowned. Classic Dana—fake sweet with a side of snake. "What freak? My husband is not a freak." She stepped closer, eyes scanning my outfit. Her smile dropped, jaw tightened.

He folds his arms, moving his head closer to my ear as he whispers. "I am a cultist. The leader of AZA CULT GROUP, one of the notorious cult gangs in this University" I felt as if a knife pierce through my skin as he moved back, his face now showing a sad feature. I tried to move my lips but they felt glued. He is joking right?", I can feel myself asking my inner mind.

*Jaedon’s POV* “You’re saying war?” My best friend and Beta, Peter Normandy raised his eyebrows at me. Peter and I had met when we were children. Our pack, Snow Creek, had taken over his own pack Everforest. Now, the remaining joined us and pledged their loyalty. It hasn’t been a terrible thing for them though. We didn’t have to kill anyone. Their Alpha had been sick and the sickness was spreading. He asked us to take over the healthy of their pack so it wouldn’t have to die off. Our Alpha at the time obliged.
