One day she would get to fulfill her dreams, all on her own, beholden to no one. Feeling sleepy, Joey lay back and admired the intricate mural covering the ceiling. It depicted an ancient battle with wild-eyed men riding bareback on stallions, wielding giant swords. The enemies in the painting resembled crusaders. Her eyes wandered back to the Arabic warriors. A fearsome man positioned at the front of the foray looked remarkably similar to Khalid, who must’ve posed for the dramatic piece. She giggled at the vanity of the garish artwork. “Joey, is that you?” Meg stood in the doorway holding a stack of folders. She looked stylish in a white shirt, flared navy skirt and flaming red stilettos.

I nod in agreement. One of the kids in a wheelchair approaches us, “Princess, thank you for helping us. You saved more kids than the ones who passed.” I kneel down to his level, “Thank you for telling me this. I am so happy to hear that. What is your name?” The little boy replies, “My name is Joey. My mom and dad are on their way here to get me. I know they will want to talk to you too.” I hug Joey, “I am so happy to meet you, Joey. I am so sorry you had to go through everything you went through.” He shrugged, “It was meant to be that way, Princess. I really believe that. The Moon Goddess told me so.” I raise my eyebrows, “Oh really?” He gives me the cutest smirk, “Yes, really.” I chuckle, “

I don't know the warriors like he does. "Let's ask Jose. He's been here for a while, and I believe we can trust him. I'll mindlink him to come here so we can talk to him." I nod and look at the list. I tear it apart, giving Jock three names, Trevor three names, and Wyatt and me four names. Looking up, I see a warrior walking toward us. He's almost as big as Wyatt, with a buzzed haircut. He stops next to our table and looks at Wyatt.

The eerie move and the high-speed punch did not allow Joey to have time to react. He could not imagine how powerful the Godly Training Form was. The punch landed on his waist, and a loud explosion could be heard. Joey screamed tragically and flew for several hundred meters. He crashed into a gold pillar and was stuck there. The historical halberd was dropped to the floor. Joey spat out blood. He looked at Wilbur with disbelieving and fearful eyes. The Cooks were also shocked.

Third Person's POV Joey laughed as he held tight onto Luke's wolf's fur. The Omega wolf is swift on his feet but careful not to throw Joey off. With his chest against Flash, Joey tilted his head back and closed his eyes as the wind rushed through his hair. He smiled, feeling like he finally got his wolf, someone he never received at 16.

The man replied. Joey wasn't saying anything at the moment and I was worried if he had found out something we didn't know. Eve and I looked at ourselves before approaching him after I had dismissed the man. "Joey, you are not saying anything. Why?" I asked. "They came to attack luckily no one was available else life would be lost, I think Alpha Jax has launched a war between us and him." Joey said. "War! Did he say the exact day we will have to face him in war?" I asked worriedly.

"Whose are they then?" "Uh," Joey says, and I sigh. The poor guy is too disheveled, beat up, and stupid for this. I almost feel sorry, except he did try to stab Alessandro earlier, and he is selling illegal Russian guns on the black market, so that makes him much less sympathetic.

Gaby saw Travis making signs to the others to hurry. “It’s up to you to take care of him. Let’s see if it can handle many opponents regardless of how good he is. Take Gaby and bring her to me!” Travis ordered them. Joey’s got eight opponents. He doesn’t leave the post long to keep the men away from Gaby. Gaby couldn’t believe it; she was watching Joey. It amazed her at his speed and skill and the speed of his kicks, and his defense. No one could hardly see what was happening.

He was with his friends and Matthew. "These are my guys, Ope, Tariq, John and you know Matthew." Deji introduced two of Matthew's friends. "How far? Christiana's man abi?" Matthew asked and James nodded. "This is Christiana's man? No wonder." Ope said, James furrowed his eyebrow. "No mind the werey jare." Deji waved Ope off. "Well this is Mustapha, Daniel and Seun." She answered with a firm nod, and he smiled proudly back at her. Then they broke into a fast trot. Joanna wound the reins around her gloved hands, holding on hard as she imitated Brock's natural horsemanship skills and leaned forward over the horse's neck. Her horse, Kaylee, kept pace with Brock's mount, and she felt a surge of pride that her English mare was as fast as his Scottish stallion.
