Winter's Lost Mate

Winter's Lost Mate

I had every reason to think that my sister was going to repeat the process given that it was she who took after Dad more. Breakout ceremonies weren't complicated. They were usually time-exhausting except on the night of a yellow moon. In a typical ceremony, after the musical rites were performed, the youngling who at that point must have had the aggressive growls of their wolf pounding against their chest faced a provocative 'opponent' in a wrestle. The opponent's job was to provoke the youngling's wolf out through anger by feigning a very aggressive attack. The theatrical attack had to be repeated if it failed.

The Alpha's Regret: Chasing Back His Rejected Luna

The Alpha's Regret: Chasing Back His Rejected Luna

Another round of applause follows, and we all stand up as Declan mounts the podium. Once again, we're given a few seconds to settle down before Declan begins. Done, all eyes fall on him. I gather my thoughts and compose myself. Both mentally and physically. “My Beta has declared this ceremony open,” his baritone carries his alpha aura, seeping it into the microphone and spreading it through the sound waves across the atmosphere. “I am glad to welcome our finest into our warrior force through this sacred ceremony. They have shown the essence and embodiment of courage, resilience, and selflessness. They have answered the call to serve, to defend, and to protect the Moonclaw Pack always. They h

A PLEAD TO MY MATE FOR FORGIVENESS

A PLEAD TO MY MATE FOR FORGIVENESS

Even if she wasn't, she made sure not to mingle with everyone else but she was respected by everyone for her work ethic. “But I'm certain she'll show in today's ceremony, after all, it's compulsory.” “Will you attend?” I asked quietly. “No, I have to look over the girls especially the unmated girls. It's dangerous for them to roam around when the ceremony starts.” I looked at the wall clock. 6:30pm. It wasn't intense untill 9pm when the influence of the moon would start showing. The top warriors of Shadow Ace had to be present during the ceremony regardless of gender.

BLOOD BOND: TIED TO MY ALPHA

BLOOD BOND: TIED TO MY ALPHA

Baylor asked. “That is what you are concerned about?” I stared at him in disbelief, “I am telling you that we are going to get a chance of a lifetime and that is your question?” “I only trust you as far as I can throw you,” his bass voice boomed. “It is a ceremony for renowned wolf warriors, it requires the alpha and his luna to perform a solemn fast and march outside the pack, through several battlefields in honor of the warriors’ sacrifice so that the Moon Goddess can receive their souls with full honor,” Lady Cecile said.

Alpha VS Omega' Twin VS Twin (A Dark Werewolf Romance)

Alpha VS Omega' Twin VS Twin (A Dark Werewolf Romance)

He is two years old and he does not understand the ceremony but he understands that something important is happening because of the quality of the room and the quality of the adults in it, and he is sitting on Callum's lap with the focused solemn expression of a two-year-old who has decided to be serious about something, which is the most serious expression I have ever seen a two-year-old produce and which makes something in my chest do a thing it has not done in a long time. Tom performs the ceremony, which he has done before in the Rookeries community, the informal version that does not require Parliamentary sanction or supernatural authority and which is the version that most of the packl

War of freedom.. War is inevitable

War of freedom.. War is inevitable

He heard Laghat say goodbye to Kosam a little more politely and finally followed him. The warriors of Shari and the four visitors from Rotenas gathered in the Upper Sanctuary. At the Zhangha ceremony, everything was always in strict order. The oldest warriors sat in front, and the younger you were, the further back you had to sit. Raen crouched in the penultimate row with Laghat on a bench in front of him. He stared darkly behind him.

One Luna, Four Alphas

One Luna, Four Alphas

We had never bothered to ask anybody to join our group again since that day, we had decided to participate in the tournament alone. We are enough. Then on saturday, we went to the ceremony the pack usually organised before the begining of the tournament. The ceremony was held in the night. When we got to the meeting hall, the others were already there, waiting. After some minutes, Alpha Xander came in and we bowed. The ceremony was just about swearing with our wolf's blood to not betray the pack and not to do anything against the rules and regulations. It took us more than three hours before we ended the ceremony and decided to go back home.

I’m sorry. I gave up on this book. It was all over the place. Names mixed up. Events changed from what we previously read in a prior chapter. There is an entire chapter completely unrelated to anything about this book. It doesn’t flow. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere. Refund would be nice…

Rejected: The Alpha's Fatal Mistake

Rejected: The Alpha's Fatal Mistake

Or told herself she had, which came out the same most nights. The ceremony went the way it always went. Elders called names by bloodline, oldest first, and one by one the unmated wolves crossed the open ground to where Alpha Kade Voss stood beneath the birch arch, close enough for him to catch a scent, close enough for the Goddess to say something if she had anything to say. She never did. Not for anyone Wren had watched go up there in five years. She was still watching some warrior's daughter make that walk when Sable's hand closed around her wrist, too hard.

Disappointment 66 Times Over

Disappointment 66 Times Over

Today was the 66th time my boyfriend, Arnold Porter, and I would hold my marking ceremony. We didn't invite many of our friends this time; our family and close friends were the only guests present. I forced myself to ignore the twinge in my stomach that had been there since early this morning while I confirmed the details of the ceremony with the officiant. Arnold, on the other hand, was utterly disinterested. He was sitting in the lounge at the side of the hall, busy massaging his adoptive sister Erna Porter's hands.

Warrior's human mate

I asked, pushing further. “Not really. I’ve got a lot of work to handle, so I’m usually cooped up in my office. But I do attend several social events—it’s expected as the pack’s leader. And of course, once a full moon comes, we have a pack run, and I lead that. We also hold ceremonies to welcome new members into the pack. Actually, we’ll need to do one for you soon. Usually, I’d have asked you to pledge loyalty to me and my pack by now.” He explained the customs in detail, confirming what I’d read in that werewolf book.
