Warrior Cat Ceremonies Novels & Stories

Perhaps that's what Alpha Greyson was doing with Alpha Alfred earlier, and that's why he couldn't come home with me! "I'm sorry... in that case... can I help with the hunting ceremony preparations?" I asked. "It's all done; everything is ready for tomorrow night; I just wanted to let you know," he added. I nodded and grew serious. "What is it?" I inquired. He inhaled deeply. "Hunting ceremony... is not just a simple hunting ceremony, Amara. The ceremony will be divided into two groups, one of the councilors and other palace officials, and the other of me and my loyal soldiers. If you think this is just a simple ceremony where we have to catch a lamb, you are mistaken. The hunting ceremony of

The entire backyard was decorated in maroon and gold and the warriors were wearing all black. As I started walking down the aisle I just kept looking into Zack's eyes and smiling. As I made it to the front Zack and Luna Gloria parted and I stood in the middle. Luna Gloria was to my right, and Zack was to my left. Zack walked over to me and held my hand because he could tell that I was very nervous. The first part of the ceremony is supposed to be Zack and I mating and marking each other, and the second part of the ceremony is Luna Gloria and Zack cutting the palms of their hands and putting their blood in a ceremonial cup and me drinking out of it. I was told by Luna Gloria that during the c

Decorating the gathering space with fall colors, preparing feast foods, arranging traditional ceremonies and modern innovations. "You look nervous," Cade said, joining me as I waited for the ceremony to begin. "I'm not nervous about committing to Shahira. I'm nervous about doing it in front of eight hundred witnesses." "Public speaking still not your strength?" "I'd rather fight three enemies simultaneously than give a speech." I adjusted my collar again. "But this matters. To her, to the pack, to what we're building. So I'll do it." The ceremony began at sunset, as was traditional. But the structure blended multiple traditions—wolf ceremonies from various clans, magical practitioner bonding

In the center, a fire burns bright, the flames stretchin’ high, cracklin’ against the hush of the evenin’. A group of elders stand nearest the fire, their voices liftin’ in a chant, their language smooth and rich like a river flowin’ over stone. Around them, warriors stand with their arms crossed over their chests, heads bowed in reverence. “What do you reckon this is?” I ask Chet through the mind-link. He watches carefully before answerin’. “A ceremony. Something sacred.” We step closer, careful to be respectful, not wantin’ to interrupt.

Warriors paraded, showing off their skills and their finest uniforms. Then finally, a huge vessel of water was hoisted above the crowd. A warrior took the ancient golden axe of Kitah and struck the vessel. It broke, dousing the crowd in water- symbolic of the new life for everyone in the Kingdom. The ceremony lasted for a week. They all wine and dine together and the following week everyone was back to their normal life.

This warrior’s dance is meant to officially teach the warriors the songs and dance steps of Afugiri warriors even though most of them learned these songs and dancing steps as kids. The ceremony is meant to be an official learning ground organized every time a new set of warriors are initiated and this happens after every 3 years. These songs and dances are songs that prepare these warriors for battle and stir their spirit in the time of action. It was the songs they were singing as the rest of the villagers were seeing them off to the forbidden forest to get the Magic Bean.

And of course, Oscar was also taking part in this plan. It was a tradition that once the pack has a new Alpha, there's going to be a ceremony. Val explained to me that it was just a little event in which we just had to sit on the earth wearing ceremonial clothes while the pack sing their ancient song under the moon. Then the rest of the night would be filled with buffet, pounding hang drums, tribal dance, and whatnot. Our ancestors were part of the earliest tribe before and their practices were applied to their future generation. "We'll do the ceremony after the training," Val informed them and they all agreed as the moon was still hiding from the sky.

Cassia believed she had finally won. The pack was also preparing for the contests that would follow the ceremony. The annual strength competition, hunting contest, and warrior trials were being discussed again. Young wolves were already challenging one another during training. After everything that had happened, the pack was slowly returning to its old rhythm. That was exactly what Gideon wanted. He wanted the sickness forgotten. He wanted Derek forgotten. He wanted everyone to focus on the tradition again. Rhett, however, wanted none of it. He stood in his room while two warriors delivered his ceremonial clothes. “You will wear these on the day of the ceremony,” one of them said.

I silently thanked the Moon Goddess in my heart. “Please, let this happiness last.” … The following days passed like a beautiful dream. The entire Wild Prowlers Pack transformed before my eyes. Everywhere I looked, preparations filled the air. Workers decorated the ceremonial grounds. Tailors hurried through the manor carrying elegant fabrics. Warriors polished ancient ceremonial weapons. The pack buzzed with excitement. Even the elders paid me a personal visit. They bowed respectfully. “We acknowledge Luna Kate's wish to follow the traditional mating ceremony.” One elder carefully placed an old, leather-bound scroll into my hands.
