Vee dropped one of her swords. Killian couldn’t wait any longer. He let go of the rope and launched himself towards the ground. As he fell, he shifted, the power rippled up his spine. He landed hard on all four and took off at a sprint just as Vee fell to her knees. The Werecat landed a hard blow to Vee’s head and she collapsed. The cat had its jaws just inches from Vee’s throat when Killian tackled the beast and they went rolling sideways. They were maw to maw as the warriors started raining down above them. The Shifters started to fall back as the warriors began cutting them down in huge swatches.

“I have a couple of projects to run through and I don't have anything to do at home. So, why not just be productive, you know?” I nodded my head in understanding. The elevator doors slid open and I stepped out, Ethan behind me. “So…your cat stays at home alone?” He asked as we stepped outside of the building. I winced slightly. “Yes…she's an independent cat.” My tendency to lie was hiked at this point. But he really didn't need to know about business in the real world. I imagined that when I woke up and got healed, I'd pack up and leave. And if this wasn't some delusion, I'd better start figuring how to not die. But first, I would sleep, whatever happened after I woke up, that I would take.

Dawn respected it but she wanted a complete family, like the usual family of her neighbors when she's still living in Canagan, so she searched and was still searching for her father. Also, their clan and Dustine's are now at peace. Inshort, the vampires and wolves aren't rivals anymore. Their grandparents are friends again and swear that there will be no more wars and hatred between them, especially for their grandchildren that have affection towards each other. Not really because they are meant to be together because they are mated.

Yet she didn’t fall down as she expected her to. “Who told you that?” Twilight sneered as if she had heard the most ridiculous joke in the world. “This is not the end yet, we’re just starting a new beginning,” Twilight stood up, her whole body bathed in blood. Her comrades had long fallen, and their safety is uncertain so it was either flight or fight for her. Unfortunately, she wasn’t fond of escaping. A red dragon never escapes. It shall stay in the battle, victorious or defeated.

Nyla’s POV The night burnt with fire and blood. Hidden in the shadows on the rocky mountainside, I saw the war break out below. Their snarls reverberated through the darkness as wolves clashed. With their claws and teeth, warriors clashed, their fur crimson. Damon's army seemed limitless, but Silver Dawn men held the line against his renegades. Like a black torrent consuming everything in its path, more and more came flooding in. I balled my fists up.

Dawn jumps into the fray, tearing the rogues apart with the help of the still standing, but now bleeding, warrior. ‘Get your friend to the hospital, and get those wounds checked out!’ I order the warrior as the last rogue falls to the ground as Dawn lets him go after destroying him and almost severing his head from his body. Someone teleports out of the blue, and Dawn immediately puts herself between the person and her pack members, growling lowly and crouching down, ready to strike.

My pack sure didn’t think I did. But New Dawn had called the meeting. Not attending would be as good as declaring war. Granted, influential members of my pack would welcome that, but they didn’t have perspective. New Dawn was ten times the size of a normal pack. They had more warriors than we had pack members. Anyone with any sense knows you don’t win a war against New Dawn. If I let the hotheads in my pack start a war, I would be responsible for the demise of my entire pack, ruining the legacy my father passed onto me.

Chapter 34 Dawn had barely brushed the mountains with silver when the alarm bells rang. Warriors stumbled from their dens, blades half-drawn, shifting into wolves as the scent hit them. Something or someone had struck in the night. Raven burst from the hall, her wolf clawing beneath her skin, as she saw two huts near the outer wall were ablaze, fire eating their timber, black smoke twisting skyward. Warriors scrambled with buckets, others trying to tear down what they could before the flames spread.

Jason said, voice low, a chill running through every warrior who heard him. Aurora squeezed his hand. “Then let them come.” As the first true light of dawn spilled across the fields, a distant echo rose, faint, but unmistakable. A war horn, from beyond the southern ridge. Jason turned, eyes hard, shoulders squared, the unbreakable Alpha of a pack that would never bow. “It begins,” he thought, and the pack rose as one, ready to stand, ready to fight, ready to write their next legend into the heart of the world.

He kissed my lips, then stared out the window. “We should go down,” he said, his eyes dark and dangerous, before glancing at my clothes. “Quickly shower, and we’ll go down together.” I nodded. After showering and changing, we headed downstairs. Bryan’s body stiffened as my mom opened the door to welcome the Stone Warriors Pack. He moved slightly in front of me, protective. Prince stepped in first. Handsome, with dark hair and stubble, but nothing compared to my mate. The tension was palpable. Bryan and Prince made eye contact, each standing taller, faces contorting into dark smirks that made everyone around cower.
