ELIANA’S POV The pack loomed high above the clearing, men and women running here and there. The sky was painted in hues of violet and burnt gold, a deceptive beauty for the chaos that would soon unfold. I stood alone, my arms wrapped around myself, watching the warriors move like shifting shadows. The pack was preparing, each person falling into position, finding their place in the battle that would soon come. Callum and Asher moved with precision, their voices low but firm as they checked weapons, adjusted armor. Malcolm stood at the edge of the gathering, his eyes distant, already lost in the war that had not yet begun.

“If Martin wants war, he’s going to bleed for it.” The wind shifted again, carrying a familiar scent. Burnt cedar and crushed petals—hers. My mark throbbed with warmth, just enough to steady the tight coil in my chest. She was safe. Still standing. Still fighting. Still mine. I turned to the assembled warriors around the tent. “Gather the units. I want a full briefing at moonrise.” When they’d assembled—fifty elite wolves in rank and file—I stepped up, looking each of them in the eye.

Blood stains were cleaned, weapons were put away, and the camp was made to look as normal as possible. As the cleanup came to an end, Hunter called upon the warriors to assemble themselves for an important announcement. I, being the Luna of the pack, was also asked to join them. As I walked up to the gathering, I noticed that the warriors of our pack and several others began to clap for me. It took me by surprise as I hadn't expected such a reaction from them.

Five days since I was forced to train the warriors of the Blue Lily pack to raid our enemies for the fifteenth time. I lay on the ground of the forest, watching the borders of the Moon Crescent pack. The figures of the wolves stationed to guard the borders were stiff in alertness and if it hadn’t been for the light-hearted conversation they held amongst themselves then one would think they knew someone was coming, that we were coming.

United We Stand Hunter pov The great hall had been transformed from a formal Council chamber into a war room in the space of an hour. The ornate banners still hung from the rafters, but the ceremonial seating had been replaced with tactical displays, communication equipment, and maps showing Brotherhood positions throughout the territory. I stood before the assembled crowd—not just Council members now, but pack warriors, refugees from Mountain Ridge, and volunteers from allied territories who had arrived throughout the day. The tablet containing the Brotherhood's ultimatum rested on the podium before me, its screen dark but somehow still emanating menace.

Katrina’s POV One of the warriors knocked on our door, his voice tight with urgency when he announced that the elders had gathered and were waiting for us. My stomach twisted the second I heard it. My palms went damp, and I had to wipe them against my dress before Liam even spoke.

"I, Cathal Bringe, the messenger of peace from Volar, with the power bestowed upon me by the kingdom of Volar and Lord Eldrick, declare that the kingdom of Volar is at war with the kingdom of Hollis." Cathal declared and held his sword in front of him ready to fight anybody who wished to attack him. Following his words, the four knights behind him too held their swords, their eyes sharp and on high alert. They gazed around the hall, counting the number of people who seemed to be ready to attack them.

Three days later, it was time to leave the werecats kingdom after a treaty was set. All the leaders of shifters and demons were present at the treaty. Two days ago. Sara sat with Artemis away from the crowd of men in the large hall. At first the hall was empty with only the Autumn Pack members and alpha and the Royal Prides belonging to the werecats. Today was a rare occasion for Sara who wanted to know many creatures that exists amongst them just as Cassandra had told her.

They swiftly grabbed weapons from the car trunks, strapping them onto their bodies or holding them firmly in their hands. Swords, axes, guns and spears were claimed with a sense of purpose, and the warriors adjusted their gear, ensuring everything was secure. Some adorned themselves with protective armor, while others carried shields to shield them from incoming attacks. Once armed, Alpha Chul's piercing gaze swept across the assembled warriors. "Remember, we fight as one. No hesitation, no fear. We are the strength that our enemies have underestimated. Now, let us show them the fury that lies within!" I refill and walk back into the living room plopping myself between my two best friends, a bit of the water actually sloshing over the rim. I lay my head back, closing my eyes and letting out a long sigh. We all sit in silence for a while resting before we all go change to go out for the night.
