Kat's ears swiveled, alert for any signs of danger, but all seemed peaceful. Too peaceful, she realized with a start. The woods were never this quiet unless... "Ambush!" Kat yelled, whirling around, but it was too late. The enemy warriors dropped down from the trees, landing lightly on their feet to surround Kat's small group. She counted at least twelve of them, all heavily armed and staring at her with hatred in their eyes. "Well, well," one of them drawled, flipping a knife casually in his hand. "Look what we have here. Poaching our omegas again, Kat?"

I can’t believe he is being such a drama king right now. I hear the warriors gather around. Warrior Peace says 30 and the others start saying numbers as well. I figured out they were calling out time frames. The longest time was 3 minutes. Everyone laughed at that. My special force warriors came on the field and joined in the fun. Seleste walks out after hearing the warriors. She looks at Warrior Peace and winks at him. “Are you ready, Mr. Alpha? Remember out here, we are not mates. We are warriors, so bring your A game because I won’t hold back on you.” Seleste said with a smirk.

They said they had met demons and terrifying beasts in Death Valley. Lily looked over at Venn, somewhat suspiciously, and asked, "Did the prince really tell you that?" "Really, Lily." “Do you know what that place is like?” Venn shook his head and replied, "Death Valley is a place for wolf warriors to practice their fighting skills."

Carter- Wind wisp through my thick black fur as I run the perimeter around my territory, checking on the rangers and training warriors along the way. The night air is cool and smells like rain making my wolf fucking happy for some off the wall reason I have yet to understand. Thunder rolls in the distance and Cole purrs like a fucking kitten making me roll my eyes and threaten to force our shift back to our human form if he doesn’t stop acting like some romance novel reading chick who loves slow dancing in the rain.

I grabbed a hot chocolate and joined them. Lola "ah here’s our other new warrior" she said smiling Maisie "girls I’m so proud of you both your gonna smash it .and It'll be nice to know when we’re all tucked up in our beds, we have two of our finest girls patrolling the boarders". Dakota "Uhh, well we still have six months to go girls before we even know if we've passed and get to be official warriors" Maisie "well I already know you girls will kick ass and pass"

Cathal declared and held his sword in front of him ready to fight anybody who wished to attack him. Following his words, the four knights behind him too held their swords, their eyes sharp and on high alert. They gazed around the hall, counting the number of people who seemed to be ready to attack them.

For the first time, a glimmer of triumph sparks in the chaos. But the victory is fleeting. An arrow flies, striking Aunty Kerynna and sending her crashing to the ground. “Caelora!” a scream pierces the air as she runs to her , grief etched on her face. Brokenhearted, Aunty Caelora steps into the clearing to hold Kerynna, her own fury barely contained. The cats panic, their coordinated assault unraveling. Confused, they lash out indiscriminately, turning on foes and friend alike. Our warriors bleed as chaos reigns.

Vee dropped one of her swords. Killian couldn’t wait any longer. He let go of the rope and launched himself towards the ground. As he fell, he shifted, the power rippled up his spine. He landed hard on all four and took off at a sprint just as Vee fell to her knees. The Werecat landed a hard blow to Vee’s head and she collapsed. The cat had its jaws just inches from Vee’s throat when Killian tackled the beast and they went rolling sideways. They were maw to maw as the warriors started raining down above them. The Shifters started to fall back as the warriors began cutting them down in huge swatches.

A clap, two claps, and three claps! I heard it from one corner and a particular wolf came out. He wasn't wearing any cloth. He was only wearing expandable shorts. I don't really recognise him but I have not really had a good relationship with all of them before so, he may be new or an old wolf, maybe even a Beta. But I'm about to find out. He giggled a little, the tempo of his giggles increased louder and faster until his laughter became hysterical. "Do I look like I'm cracking a joke to you?"

My Dad might fancy such but I’m not my Dad. I noticed most of the Warriors were middle-aged he-wolves and she-wolves, but I also noticed some young adults, like me too. I could imagine they had started Combat classes at an early age and had done remarkably well in training for them to have been able to be Reignile Warriors at such a young age. So that basically meant every Warrior here was older than me by Combat rank. I hadn’t finished my combat classes, remember? It had been interrupted twice. Both times by the one and only Cayden.
