I asked, eyeing him suspiciously. "My name is Aiden. My father is the Alpha of jade moon pack. It's not safe here, we need hide" he muttered. The roar from the wounded wolf urged me to go with Aiden. We ran through the thick smoke and debris, and hid in a dark conference room. My heart was beating fast. I leaned on the wall, catching my breath. I saw him peer through the broken wall, scanning the area. "You are bleeding." I said, holding his hand. The wound was still fresh, and I wondered why he wasn't crying in pain.

As the sun began to rise, Aiden's grief turned to anger. He couldn't understand how someone could be so heartless as to drug someone using a silver bullet. He found himself hating the person responsible for the incident, even though he didn't know who it was. "Are you all right?" I asked Aiden as soon as we hop into the car we will be using in searching for the werewolf hunter's whereabouts. He and I occupied the same car while the two werewolf guardians Alpha Romulo sent for us also occupied the other car.

I was the first to speak up. His eyes flicked to mine. “I fear no one.” With that, he grabbed his car keys and strode toward the door.
