We Went Back Novels & Stories

We were back in the Fangworth pack land, just back at the Alpha's territory. Back? We never left, we were still there. Right in his pack pack land market. I glanced at Hayden, then back at where we were coming from. How did we end up there?

And half whispered back, scolding Nadine. "I told you before. We finished our business this morning at the office. I'm not going to cancel our wedding!" Nadine took a deep breath. "Can we sit down for a bit and talk some more?" Adrian was still holding his voice so as not to yell at Nadine. "I told you our business is done."

Then we decided to head back to the pack house. Walking out of the check up room, we walked right into the guys on their way in... fuuuck. Just my luck.

Thousand thoughts ran through my mind but there was one that gained the most in me. "Where are we heading now?" I broke the silence that lingered for almost five minutes. Anna stared at me and said, "I think we should go back to the pack." "The pack? Why? I thought we planned on going to see the elders of the pack before returning to the pack house. Why then do you want us to return home?" I was confused and I couldn't wrap my arms around it. "Are you sure you still want to go see the elders? I feel you should relax a bit after what happened back there."

It wasn’t much, but it was enough to keep moving forward. As we made our way back to the pack house, I glanced over at Caspian and Finn. They were still talking, still laughing. I sighed.

Her head bobbed up and down quickly and she turned to search absentmindedly for her backpack which sat next to her. "It's right next to you, Neilla." I informed. She smacked her forehead and gave me a small guilty grin. She touched the bag but didn't rise from her seat. "We can go back to Greece if you want. You just have to say the word." She shook her head, then rose from her seat. "No. I brought us here, didn't I? It's too late to turn back now." She let out a nervous chuckle.

Freya slipped her arm around Audrey's and spoke in a sweet voice, "Mom, maybe Ella just needs time to adjust. How about we come back tomorrow? Let's give her the night to process everything." Audrey considered it for a moment. "That works, too." When she looked at me again, most of the motherly warmth from our supposed reunion had faded. She forced herself to remain calm as she said, "Pack your things tonight. I'll come get you tomorrow." After Audrey and Freya left, I staggered back into the house. The moment I sat down, a mouthful of blood burst from my lips.

Alice We spent our final night in the hotel, taking a nice relaxing bath, and sipping on expensive wine. Eventually, we both headed to bed, and fell asleep. When we awoke, it was time to go back to the pack. It seemed that Bryce wanted us back urgently, and I was going to object, but he sounded like he was rather serious. So, here we were, sitting in the car, on our four-hour route back to the pack, and I found myself wondering what was so serious that he needed us back at the pack so urgently? I hope everything was alright, and I hope we were not too late.

She had curled it. I held the mascara against my lashes and smiled. She stood behind me, grinning at our reflections in the mirror. “Thanks. When you’re old enough, you can join us.” “Whatever. Are you going with Uncle Way?” “Nope. Becca and Fumi.” “Are we ever going back home? According to him and Malik, we couldn’t return to our houses until we found the people who attacked us. I was almost convinced they weren’t doing anything about it. Malik was too comfortable with having me in his place. I also loved staying with him. But Mom and Lynn were tired.

POV Mike Completely disconcerted, I was unable to say a word for many minutes, the same for my calm brother who had to make a forced stop. Knowing we were incapable of hearing anymore, we decided to continue on our way and resume this conversation another time, but seeing that we received no response from Klaus, we turned back to find Klaus completely lost in another world Simultaneously nodding our heads, Mickaël started the march and I started the music, leaving everyone lost in their thoughts.
