I shook my head, the tears falling faster. “Yes, I am. I’ll never be like you. I’ll never be strong.”
Liam hesitated, then reached out, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. “We didn't do this to make you feel weak. We did this to test your speed, we want to train you, we know you can be stronger,” he said softly. I just stared at him. He tilted his head to the side, taking in my teary face. “You don't have a wolf, we all know that. But that’s not a weakness. Who knows, it might be a strength.”
