“Alright, here are mine: One, I once climbed the highest mountain in our territory. Two, I have a secret tattoo. Three, I can’t swim.” The pack members pondered his statements, whispering among themselves. “I think the lie is that you can’t swim,” Lily said confidently. “No, it’s the secret tattoo,” Rylan interjected. Orion grinned. “The lie is that I can’t swim. I’m actually a great swimmer.” The pack laughed and applauded. “Who’s next?” Orion asked, passing the turn to Thalia. Thalia stood up, thinking for a moment. “Okay, here we go: One, I used to be a professional dancer. Two, I’m terrified of spiders. Three, I’ve never broken a bone.”

June turned to look at me from behind her and yelled, "Trampoline!" I immediately knew the strategy. She bent her knees and I clasped both of her hands while positioning myself inverted to her and bending my knees so we can align the soles of our shoes. Imitating a rocketship, I increased my airkicks power to the fullest and used it to boost June's speed as I kicked her off to launch her body towards the spinning ring. —a rocketship launch from the Rearguards of the Golden Crows! Marc closed his eyes, trying to push her out of his mind. But the harder he tried, the clearer her smile became. “Uncle Marc,” Cassandra’s sweet voice echoed in his head. “Teach me how to swim. You used to be a champion, right?” Marc swallowed hard as his eyes locked onto her. She was standing in the water, wearing a tiny two-piece swimsuit. Her wet hair clung to her shoulders, her glistening skin making her look even more tempting. Cassandra reached for his hand, guiding it toward her chest.

We swim over the city for a while when I start to see a large castle in the middle. The King swims to the highest tower of the castle and puts his upper half including me into the air bubble. He drops me in front of the tower door and seems to be about to leave. ''Wait,'' I shout. '' Where are you going? What is going to happen to me? You can't just leave me here!'' The King just looks at me with a dead look in his eyes and then leaves without saying a word. I watch the King swim away and I think to myself, ''What an asshole!''

I hadn't been alone with any other men beyond that, and the only other person I was close to was Gianna, who couldn't possibly be the one since she was a woman. I furrowed my brow, and then it hit me—a month ago, Gianna and I had gone swimming at the public pool, where some guy harassed me. He deliberately swam close to me and even made disgusting, inappropriate gestures toward me. I was beyond furious, and Gianna went off on my behalf, furiously dressing down the man for what he had done.

I walk until the water is up to my waist. Closing my eyes, taking a few breaths, I dive under the water and swim as the shift takes hold. I breach the surface, throwing my head back as I do. My wet hair is thrown back. I open my eyes, smiling as I look at Carter, who is naked as he enters the water. He isn’t scared; he is confident. I swim closer to him when he stops. The water up to his chest.

Gunner. As we came up to the sand I looked down along the water’s edge, still no people. I ran for the water, prancing over the small waves and diving under the as they got bigger. The blood of the elk washed off with each hit of a new wave. I was swimming in a circle around Cole when he jumped onto my back, playfully pushing me down. I turned my neck and nipped at his hind legs causing him to fall off, splashing into the water. I swam around and hit him in the face with my tail and then slowly made my way back to shore. Walking up onto the sand I shook off the excess water and laid down further up on the dry sand. The sky was blue and cloudless, the sun was getting low but was still warm. C

As I looked around the room, I noticed one of them was on the other side of the room, but before I could see what he was doing, the bathroom door opened, and the fourth one came outside, all wet and wearing black shorts only. "Name’s Caspian Diego," spoke the tall, handsome hunk with piercing green eyes and black hair as he dropped his wet towel on the couch and approached me. He was so incredibly good-looking that I found myself forgetting to even introduce myself to him. "Genevieve Swan!" he said with a smile, "that's your mate, Bellamy Holmes, and over there is Emre Shield, the ex-warrior of your pack," he gestured towards the man on phone and then at the one doing pushups in the corner.

Dante asked in a teasing tone. "Who is staring?" Madonna stuttered and started swimming around. Dante scoffed and started swimming also. It wasn't long after they found themselves in competition with each other. They kept swimming from one end to the other trying to see who would give up first. Madonna is an excellent swimmer but Dante's sheer will was making her doubt her skills. They kept striking and even lost count of how many laps they have swum until Dante decided to give up.
