The weight of the story hung heavily in the air as we sipped our coffee, the bitter warmth mirroring the emotions that swirled around us. She recounted how Mark had been devastated by the fabricated story and the public humiliation that followed. He had decided to make a drastic change in his life, leaving behind the town that had witnessed his downfall and relocating to France. There, he took up a job as a mailman, seeking solace in the anonymity of a foreign land.

Every month on the 15th is the day I swap lives with Melody Foster. 18 years ago, a hospital mix-up places our IVF embryos in each other's mothers. After the truth comes out, my biological parents want their real daughter, and my adoptive parents want theirs. They arrange for Melody and me to rotate between the two homes on a monthly basis, switching every 15th. From then on, I become the burden neither family wants. In whichever home Melody stays, there are endless snacks and drinks, thousands of dollars in monthly allowance, and the sunny bedroom is always reserved for her. In whichever home I stay, there's nothing but plain meals and a windowless storage room. 18 years later, I

The day summer break started after my third year of college, Mom and Dad drove over in their SUV to pick us up. My older sister, Janet Gould, helped carry the luggage. My younger brother, Harvey Gould, clung to Mom and soaked up her attention. When I carried my duffel bag downstairs, they stared at me in shock. None of them recognized me. "Liam, is that you? How did you lose so much weight?" Mom looked me over, her expression hard to read. For a moment, I thought she was worried about me. But then she suddenly frowned. "You're not sick, are you? We don't have health insurance for you." Janet looked at me with disgust. "Did you lose all that weight just to compete with Harvey for attent

The words spoken by the fake Sienna yesterday were identical to the very sentence Gwen had uttered on the night before that tragic accident: Wherever and whenever you are, get to know your wife well! Hans grew restless. Could it really be that his wife's soul had been swapped with Sienna's—the wife of Jeff, the wealthiest man in their town? It felt utterly absurd to his rational mind. Swapped souls were something that belonged strictly in the movies he had watched. "Hans, what are you pondering? You look so intense," Sienna asked, snapping him out of his reverie. "Oh, um, it's nothing. Not thinking about anything," Hans answered. "But your face looks so serious. I've been watching you for a

I'm the head cheerleader for the Westbrook High football team. I couldn't walk through the front gate without a crowd closing in around me, and one candid photo could set the entire school message board on fire. Then I woke up one morning inside the body of the two-hundred-pound girl in my class, the one everybody called ugly. Our souls had traded places. She sent me a message. [Your good days are over, Corinna Vale.] [And let me be clear, this swap is permanent. From today on, everything people ever envied you for belongs to me!] [As for you, go rot in that body for me!] But I looked at the girl in the mirror and laughed out loud. She had only seen the shine on the outside. She had no idea

Trust me when she sat the whole car jerked. "How much do you weigh now?" I asked looking at her. "forty eight" she proudly tells. How the hell is she less than me? I kept wondering. We both were weighing same some weeks ago and how did she reduce. And if she reduced than why can't I balance? Why the scooter have to jerk? "How much do you weigh?" she asked my same question back "Forty five" I clearly lied. I weigh fifty but still Esha can't be thinner than me.

There was something captivating about him. One too many drinks later, I woke up to find everything spiraling out of control. My parents had leaped to their deaths. Debt collectors were banging on our door. Fred's desperate call came in. "Veronica, come home. Mom and Dad are gone." That same day, Dean and I were ambushed by reporters. The media was quick to paint him as a man with a scandalous personal life. To protect his company's upcoming stock launching, Dean lied, claiming we'd been in a long-term relationship.

Aaron said as he crossed his arms. "That's not love if you don't care about her health.A man should want his girl to be healthy" "Who says having extra meat isn't healthy? I know plenty of plus size women that's healthier than a broccoli" "I'm just gonna pretend that I didn't hear you say that" "Anyways,by how some fit people carry themselves isn't healthy either" "Yea,I know that" "To be honest,I have a wife that weighs two hundred and ten pounds. And I'm loving it"

No one in her family was overweight either. She’d once smugly told Shen , “Some people are just born beautiful—it’s not my fault I’m one of them.” Now… the graceful swan had turned into a chubby little goose. Turns out, even beauty can’t outrun weight gain. Feeling defeated, she said, “Once the wedding chaos is over, I want to start working out with you.” Scott glanced at her and said coolly, “Then you’d better fix your habit of snoozing through mornings first.”

"But don't worry, very soon, I will be taking the business away from you" "Fine! Until then, can you leave? I have things to do" "You just got married, and you are back at work, you're sure you're not impotent?" Lucas asked with a smug grin. "You've been picking different girls every week for so many years now and none of them has ever gotten pregnant for you, do you think your withdrawal method is so good or.... you just are unable to...?" "Don't you say nonsense!" Lucas flared up. "I am not saying nonsense but you really should go to the hospital and check yourself out"
