Bad to the core

Bad to the core

ALICIA It was a wonderful day. I enjoyed the environment so much that the noise that filled the café didn’t act as a distraction. The breeze that found its way to me whenever the Café’s door opened, the laughter and jokes from a group of high school students that sat at a huge table, the fussing toddler and the two old men that were debating loudly about soccer in the corner didn’t bother me at all —my eyes were fixed on the screen of my laptop, my heart beating fast and loud, it felt like everyone in the café could hear it.

Corrupted

Corrupted

Cassandra said firmly, getting the hang of what he managed to do now. “You saw his eye color? When it shone crimson, his skin hardened, it became untouchable. But, when it was golden, he could breathe smoke but his skin would be weak enough to cut.” Tristan said from behind, telling them why they were unable to hurt it before. “So we have to distract it until it becomes golden and then strike again?” Persephone asked. “Yes.” “I also noticed a core. It was visible for a second, to finish it off we have to rupture it.” Ahlum added another crucial point about it or else without it, they could never defeat it.

Reclaim the Ice Crown (Blue Triangle Series #1)

Reclaim the Ice Crown (Blue Triangle Series #1)

Arth shook his head innocently. "Wait, where’s the purple core you collected from the competition?!" "The grand mage took it." Robert slapped his forehead, then rubbed down on his face. "Oh gods, you've just been fooled, bro!" "I don't get it." "You're supposed to keep it. That core was expensive," Robert sighed, "Look. Rare cores can be sold at high values. Some can be used for experiments … medicines and other stuffs. There are also cores that can somehow give birth to same type of beasts through rituals, but these cores are only found in legendary-class beasts.”

Geeh, what if I told yah, I finished this great book in LESS THAN TWO DAYS?! The point is the content is so unique and breathtaking. I like how all the 'fantasy' stuff that I know was combined in one book and was decently written. It's worth reading and totally wholesome!

I am blown away! This is the best all-in-one fantasy book I've ever read in this app! I'm so addicted with the plot and the characters. It is very well-written and I strongly recommend it to young adult readers!

THE PROFESSOR'S DIRTY CLAIM

THE PROFESSOR'S DIRTY CLAIM

They drove through the waking city toward the old Apex server farm on the outskirts of Ikeja. The building looked abandoned from the outside—dark windows, chained gates but as they approached, the doors slid open on their own. Inside, the main server chamber had transformed. The racks of computers were gone. In their place stood a vast circular chamber with black obsidian walls that pulsed with faint blue energy. In the center hovered the Core—a swirling mass of liquid shadow and glowing code, roughly humanoid in shape but constantly shifting. It had no face, only two burning white points of light where eyes should be.

The Billionaire Who Thought I Was Blind

" I skimmed a derivative version for my own research. Don’t worry. No identifying markers. Consider it a finder’s f*e. A. Kane: You don’t “skim” my architect. Purge it. L.Black: Relax. I know how to handle sensitive information. Besides, one day you’ll thank me. The thread ended there. The image file suddenly felt heavier. I clicked it. A screenshot. Old. A terminal window is open on a monitor. Code. A partial dump of a neural map orientation sequence. On the top line, a comment. // CK_base_profile – pre‑conditioning My stomach lurched.

Weird Notes

Weird Notes

I felt the falling temperature as well and noticed that there must something terrible happened, so I said to her: "Well, Miss Isabella, if it's hard to say you could just ignore me will be alright." Isabella, who had been silent at first, suddenly interrupted me, then changed back to her sloppy appearance at the beginning and said: "Weirdness is the result of the unwillingness of people after death, the spiritual wisdom born after a hundred years of immortality, and the rumours spread by word of mouth. In the final analysis, weirdness is the existence of hatred and resentment, do you understand, little cutie."

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

"But they aren't registering us into an index. They're waiting to see if we'll surrender the cores to pay for the ink." "The cores are the only things the reformat couldn't round down to zero, Xander," I said, walking up beside him. My right palm, permanently grayed and puckered by the silver needle-scar, throbbed with a low, persistent warmth. "If we give them the cores, we're just funding their next draft. We're becoming the capital for a Volume Ten we didn't authorize." The Architecture of the Final Audit
