"Your belongings have been placed in the closet. We weren't sure what to do with most of them…they seemed... unsuitable." My cheeks burned. "Unsuitable?" "They are cheap fabrics with outdated styles." She walked past me toward the closet. "You will need new clothes for your public appearances. I'll have a stylist come tomorrow." I followed her into the closet. It was bigger than my entire room at my father's house, filled with empty racks and shelves waiting to be filled.

After waiting five minutes, I decided to find them myself. I stepped into the walk-in closet and nearly had my jaw drop at the sight. His walk-in closet resembled a private boutique, with floor-to-ceiling walnut cabinets displaying perfectly tailored suits, military-inspired uniforms, expensive watches, polished leather shoes, and neatly arranged accessories. I searched the drawers for a long time before I finally found a pair of T-shirts and sweats.

I made it straight to his closet. Sensor lights i'mmediately came on and I felt my jaw drop. It was a walk in closet. A his and hers closet. But the hers side seemed bigger and the clothes that hung everywhere seemed brand new. Rows of dresses and shelves of shoes. A marbled island in the middle and a see through glass counter top.

I pushed the classy looking door open and beheld the sight of my dream closet… straight out of a fashion commercial. Did he say he got them for me? This was a whole shiny collection that screams something I'm not… and probably would never be. I couldn't stop myself from going into the closet that was in every way better and more accommodating than the back room I was given in my own father's house.

I had the dreaded school day ahead of me, and just the thought of running into that jackass Tim made me shudder. But hey, I couldn't let that ruin my day, so I shrugged it off and hopped into the shower. When I emerged from the bathroom, I noticed that the room had been magically cleared up. Gotta give props to Mia for that. Clinging onto the towel for dear life, I strutted my way into the walk-in closet. And boy, oh boy, Marcus had done some serious work in such a short time. That closet was like a fashion wonderland, filled with clothes of all shapes, sizes, and styles. I mean, seriously, who needs that many outfits?

After waiting for what felt like ages, with no clothes arriving, I decided to explore his closet to see what would fit me. The wardrobe was predominantly filled with formal wear, royal garments, and neatly hung button-down shirts, all of which were much too large for me, even though I was on the thick side. But I continued scanning meticulously, not wanting to disorganize the perfectly arranged closet. Finally, after several minutes of looking, I came across a shirt that seemed about the right size. It was adorned with a smiley emoji and the words "Smile for me, even when you're sad" printed above it.

I was blown away by the number of antiques in the room. I went inside the room to take a good look when I realized something and turned towards Caleb, “No closet?” “Oh, there is a walk-in closed at the end. That door”. He pointed towards the door. I opened in and saw a giant room, filled with clothes of all styles. “Well, I went shopping with mom. We didn’t really know what your personal taste is like, so brought almost everything” He laughed and scratched the back of his head. Well, my personal taste is a 3XL t-shirt with dolphin shorts, but am I going to tell him that? Absolutely not!

I followed her inside. I may not be girlish but I was a shopaholic and the closet I walked in was a heaven set-up for me. I was a girl, after all, one that was brought up in old money. Rack after rack limited-edition branded fabrics and accessories was just what I needed to calm my nerves.

It’s massive, sleek and modern. Everything about this place feels unreal. I take a long, hot shower, letting the water wash over me as I try to piece everything together. It doesn’t help much. When I step out, wrapping a towel around myself, I notice the closet. Curious, I open it. There are clothes neatly arranged, stylish and my size. I hesitate. Whoever owns this room, they’re about my age. Swallowing my unease, I pull out a pair of jeans and a plain black shirt.

Emilia said following me behind to my room. As I stepped into the room, a familiar sight caught my eye—the door of the closet.
