I was bored to death, hungry, and alone. I had microwaved some dishes in the refrigerator and sat in the living room, scouring through N*****x for a good series to watch. I had eventually settled for 'Game of Thrones'. It was engaging and extremely interesting to watch. The crazy plot twists, the unraveling of secrets, the characters, and the suspense, all made the series a worthy watch. I was so invested in the series, that I did not hear Adrian step into the kitchen. I jumped in surprise when a loud crash interrupted my focus in the movie. I dashed into the kitchen to find Adrian on his knees, picking up broken pieces of glass with his bare fingers.

Funny, because no one should be happy their worst enemy had done something nice. A gift alone should be an alert to tread carefully.
