And while I saw versions of the fabled Werewolf capital in movies as a kid, it isn’t the same as experiencing it in real life. Crescent City is a city, yes, but Moon River is a metropolis. It was a stunning sight that left me in absolute awe as we ascended a hill. I had only heard stories of the grand Werewolf City, Nova Aeria, from my father but seeing it now made me realise just how much the stories did not do it justice. The architecture of the buildings all seemed to wrap around the grand castle in the middle that was made out of white marble that shimmered under the light of the half moon and the stars. Pillars stretched up into the sky with a large, crescent moon perched atop the four pillars to represent the grand Kingdom of Werewolves.

After a few minute's drive in Marcel's car, we arrived at an isolated part of the city, which seemed eerily darker than other parts. We stepped down from the car, my father slamming the driver's seat door behind him before he explained. "Most human cities have a certain amount of supernaturals among their populace. This city, in particular, has numerous vampires and witches but only a few small werewolf packs." My eyes shone in surprise as I turned my gaze to my father.

Since the curfew declaration, the city had been thrown into chaos as citizens hurriedly made their way back home. The accursed creatures from hell, capable of assuming human forms, had finally infiltrated the city, ruthlessly attacking anyone in their path—the werewolves. "Out of my way!"
