- Adriah’s POV - I closed my eyes tightly, desperately trying to block out the intense and agonizing pain tearing through my head. The wolf inside me kept howling, louder and louder, its voice echoing through every corner of my mind. It wasn’t like this before—never this wild, never this consuming. It was as if something deep within me was waking up, clawing its way to the surface. The sound grew unbearable, a haunting melody of rage and sorrow wrapped in an endless howl.

But for a werewolf whose nervous system had been shattered by a silver cage, that rhythm felt like a hammer against his brain. The remaining Hollow-Men didn't use fire or blades; they used Discordant Chanting. They began to hum a fragmented version of the "Hush," a broken melody designed to trigger the trauma in a werewolf’s mind. "You are broken, little wolf," the mages hissed in unison. "The cage is still inside you. The silver is still in your marrow. Give us the crystal, and we will end the noise."

Exalia’s PoV When talking about the howl that pierced the night, one could describe it as being unlike any other howl or sound that had ever been heard as a howl. It sounded to scary and eerie, and anyone who was not a supernatural could have become deaf after listening to it, because it was so loud. Thanks to our werewolf nature and abilities, we did not become deaf as a result of the loud howl, but we were rather terrified and worried about it’s origin and intentions.

The sound of screams and growls of beasts also sounded quite loud from where I stood. It took me a few seconds while standing stunned in my spot before I realized it wasn't the sound of a beast growling, but a werewolf growl. Occasionally I hear their overlapping howls. From the sounds of angry screams, whoever was there seemed to be fighting right now. Did Alex come to pick me up?

She takes a couple of steps toward us. We are moments away from being discovered.
