Her skin was soft under my fingertips, and I marveled at how this woman—this fiery, stubborn, incredible woman—had somehow claimed every broken piece of me and was starting to put them back together. There is a mark looking fully formed, on his neck. It shows two wolves sitting howling at the moon, the big one is black, and the smaller one is almost white with a hint of ice blue. Above them is a moon the same color as the smaller wolf, and all around them, a shade or glow of blue shades. It is beautiful, and I can’t stop looking at it. I remember he told me the one on me would look the same. I carefully get out of bed and look around and now I look at the room I am in, and I am shocked.
