The werewolf originated in the times of ancient Greece when their gods reigned supreme. During one fateful festivity, Lycaon, the son of Pelasgus, was in need of a meat to serve. Too lazy to go hunting for wild game or to slaughter a lamb, he served the Greek god, Zeus (who was the ruler of the sky and of all gods and mankind), a meal made from the remains of a sacrificed boy. This severely enraged Zeus. As punishment, the angered god turned Lycaon and his sons into wolves. They were to be looked upon by the rest of humanity as something to abhor.

Dad used to tell me bedtime stories about how all werewolves came from one set of ancestors. A human prince was rescued and fell in love with a gray wolf. Together they had ten pups, and those pups were the original werewolves. The eldest pup became a great leader, and his children populated many parts of Persia. The other pups ended up spreading all over the world. There were rumors that they even settled Ireland. Then they came here to America. looking at him, he looked back searching for something in my eyes and then finally nodded. “How did you guys become werewolves, I mean either you were humans or wolves or maybe you guys piss off a god-like most people say, like what’s the origin?” I was always curious about the origin of mythological creatures but there is no solid or concrete proof about how these things originated except for the fact that all of them were either tales to scare children or rumors or related to a god.

Freda began our lesson by delving into the very essence of what it meant to be a werewolf. She explained the etymology of the term, breaking it down into its components. It signifies the combination of human and wolf, the duality that defines the essence of a werewolf."

For a long time an alpha born wolfless used to be looked at as an abomination but recently it has been revealed that those werewolves are very powerful without the ability to transform into a wolf. Now, I apologize for taking this out of order but I wanted to start with facts before introducing the myth. It is a known fact that most if not all werewolves originated from the un

The legends say that the moon goddess's wrath could manifest in various ways—natural disasters, plagues, or even a curse upon the land and its people.
