Dannie picked up another joint from her room and went to the library. Among the ancient books was one of the largest collections of werewolf history in the world. If there was anything on Balric or the black book it was there. She gathered a variety of titles that looked promising and lit the joint. Taking a hit, Dannie opened the first book. Inside was mostly what she already knew.

She rallied her vampire allies, leading them in a counter-attack against the werewolf pack. The circle of bloodshed and destruction expanded, consuming all in its path. Lives were lost, the ground soaked with the blood of both werewolves and vampires. The air crackled with power and despair, the once-beautiful landscape now scarred by the ravages of war. Amareux, torn between his loyalty to his pack and his love for Arayah, found himself caught in the crossfire. He fought alongside his werewolf brethren, hoping to quell the violence and bring an end to the cycle of vengeance. Inside, the cell with a red werewolf facing Alarick and Convel. “A sanguis.” Both Alarick and Convel said as they were staring at a two-tailed red werewolf. In return, the red werewolf gave them a low growl. Instead of being scared, Alarick and Convel looked fascinated by the sight. The bloody color of the werewolf is shining as well as the two tails it keeps on swaying.

Meanwhile, Chloe gave birth to a pup with pure golden fur, and suddenly her home was overflowing with admirers praising her husband’s powerful bloodline. Humiliated, Damian turned vicious. He berated me constantly, furious that he hadn’t chosen Chloe instead. In the Alliance, werewolf bloodlines fell into four ranks: Omega Black Werewolves, Beta Gray Werewolves, Alpha Silver Werewolves, and Golden Lycans. Each rank was divided further into low, average, and high categories.

The stories, dismissed as folklore within the Silvermoon Pack, suddenly took on a chilling reality.
