I heard a dangerous groan from the direction of Diego, and dread crept into my heart when he slowly rose up above. It was not Diego anymore. It was a beast already. Its claws were sharp as dagger; its ears moving as if looking for the sound of delicious prey; its height is like a legendary giant. The werewolf’s eyes were red as blood. His fur was black like darkness in hell and the sound of its groan would dominate fear in every prey he would take. The werewolf howled as well as the others. He was howling like he is the king, while the other werewolves sounded like they are going to kill him but didn't have the guts to attack him. His eyes then drifted at me, my blood feeling drained.

Nothing at all. No thread of thoughts. No sign of emotions. No indication of feelings. No cue of any sort of reaction. No hint of breathing. No sign of life. At all. Alphose had no idea what happened next because they all happened so fast. But knew that Wolfaraine roared. A very loud roar shook the whole castle and vibrated the whole werewolf clan. Standing tall and menacing, his brown and white fur bristled as he bared his fangs at Bruce. Bruce roared in response, fully embracing his beast. His body twisted grotesquely as his half-transformed state gave way to a monstrous wolf form. His light brown fur, marred by a large black patch across his back, shimmered under the dim light as his glowing amber eyes narrowed with bloodlust. Saliva dripped from his snarling jaws as he crouched, preparing to attack.

I tore through the shadowling beasts, letting my claw hook on the tough leather of their fur as I dug out chunks of flesh. “Die you bastards!” I growled loudly, letting out a loud roar when one of the beasts flew up and dug its jagged teeth into the meat of my shoulders. I turned my glowing yellowed eyes on the thing that looked more like a hellhound than a werewolf, with red eyes that proved it was abnormal. “Get off me you swine!” I roared, flinging one heavy hand that cracked its skull into two and wincing at the blood that sprayed disgustingly over my sneering face.

My throat was dry and aching while my head felt blurry. A twig snapped behind me and I knew I had been caught. I turned around and picked up a stick to defend myself. "Show yourself." I muttered as I looked all around. All I heard was the rustling of leaves and then a loud roar before I was pinned to the ground with a white wolf on top of me. This was it! There was absolutely nothing I could do. Nothing to do but watch myself get ripped apart by a furious wolf. He slashed through my chest and I could feel the excruciating pain as blood oozed out of my body.

Awoo! Raven howled in agony, still feeling the shift happening in every single bone and nerve in his body. The five newly turned wolves then howled in different roar and level of pain until Raven suddenly attacked the first one who shifted. The rest of the pack was a bit of surprised because Raven was such a quiet boy, and it also alerted the council. Then, an expected fight among them broke out.

Logan’s hand closed around mine. He stretched, chest pulled in sharper, jaw firm. The wolf roared once more. The sound shook the walls. Logan’s eyes shut open. The silver-eyed beast lunged toward them just as Logan finally woke, his power stirring like a storm ready to break.
