After supper, we sat outside under a tree, watching the sun go down. Nix wrapped his arm around my shoulders, and I leaned against him. Nix practically doubled as a heater as the air cooled down, and I was comfortable. “I am afraid that feral wolves are nearby our pack borders,” Nix blurted out.

She paid attention to the footprints left and concluded that it was a wolf. What was a wolf doing out here by this time of the day? She kept walking and came to a stop at a huge tree, where the blood stopped. Listening closer, she heard heavy breaths coming from the tree. Calling herself all sorts of names, she made her way to the other side of the tree and gasped when she saw a lady, very naked sitting under the tree. She looked terrible. Sweating profusely despite the cold and her hands were clenched at her stomach.

All she felt was the gum that was generated from the tree. “Are you with a torchlight? I need to see something here.” Tony stopped walking and turned to see her standing in front of a tree, she had her hands on it. He could clearly see her under the moonlight. He reached into his backpack and pulled out a torchlight. He walked back to where she stood and switched it on. He saw the deep cutting on the tree bark, he recognized it to be the work of the claws of a werewolf. “This was made by a werewolf, it is still very fresh. This means we are very close.”

I open my eyes and I am in the forest but I'm sitting on a tree branch for some reason, I look around but I don't see anything or anyone, not even Selene. I lay back and rest my head against the body of the tree, I'm pretty sure this is where I am meant to be so I'll just play the waiting game, I am not sure how long I've been here but some movement below me caught my attention, I watch as a few little Pixie looking critters carry a baby and wolf pup, the baby was placed below the tree I am perched on and the pup carried over to the little isle I once laid on to recover near the Life Tree.

As I approached, the sky darkened, and I found myself at a gigantic tree in the heart of the forest. Despite the fact that I was exhausted from my lengthy journey, something about this place captivated me. The black wolf I was riding came to a halt in its shadow and motioned me to dismount. "Why are we stopping here?" I inquired, surprised. It was late, but the moonlight was bright, illuminating the enormous tree nearby. "It all started with this big tree," the wolf replied, his voice deep and full of a thousand stories.

I had to push carefully through the underbrush, using my keen senses to navigate the dangerous terrain. As I walked, I searched every tree for a sign of werewolf habitation. The rural werewolves, like the Capris Coven, were known for marking their territory with intricate carvings. They would cut delicate symbols into the bark of trees using both their claws and magic. These marks, known as the LunaSeal, were believed to hold the power of the moon and the forest and served as a warning to rival packs and predators. I scanned each trunk, hoping to see these unique signs, but found nothing—no carvings, no symbols, no hint of their magic. The island seemed void of werewolf presence, filled only

"Come. Look." I didn't want to let go of Elowen, so I stood with her still in my arms, carrying her to the window. She didn't protest — just wrapped her arms around my neck and looked where Corvin pointed. The tree line was full of eyes. Dozens of them, glowing gold and amber in the darkness. Wolves — massive wolves, bigger than any natural animal — sitting motionless among the pines. Watching. Waiting. "How many?" I asked, my voice rough.

Though the thought was amusing, imagining them all losing their minds about a werewolf running loose in their midst. Yet I doubted that kind of reaction would last long here. If there was any town likely to band together to run off a beast in their midst, then judging by their attitude towards outsiders, it would be this one. I sighed as I eventually ended up back at the same oak tree I'd slept under the night before, sitting down and making myself as warm and comfortable as I could be under its broad branches once more. Sleep came fairly easily, and undisturbed, after the long, productive day, and a good meal.

Reaching for the pulley mechanism, I opened it and watched the outside scenery of trees and trees and nothing but trees and oh, the full moon high above the mountains. Then, I saw something in my periphery. A movement. A shadow behind the trees twenty meters away from the building. That would have been nonthreatening considering there were many animals in these parts of the Gundonovian forest. But, as I continued to stare down, I found that there were more of them hiding. Bigger animals. Bigger than bears, and they were definitely on all fours. My heart skipped a wild beat. Werewolves! And they were probably the ones I saw earlier.

I look at his wolf and he tilt his head to the right. What? I just wait for something else. For him to explain himself. He starts to walk again​. I followed. He's now running and I do so as well. We get to the witch tree fast. Faster than I thought possible. I see the stanger thing ever. The Witch tree is glowing. Not much. I guess is imperceptible to human eye but I see a little sparkle. Maybe because it's night time. I look to him and he shoves​ his wolf body towards mine, almost knocking me out.
