For werewolves, the full moon is a sacred occasion. A werewolf pack congregates for their own rites in the same manner that humans might dress nicely and convene at a place of worship. The location where we meet for the Trialblazer pack is roughly an hour and a half northwest of Toronto. Two hundred acres of pristine territory where we can securely wander as the monsters we become every full moon were once home to a pack long before Canada was known as New France, at the time when our ancestors fled northern Europe in longboats.

The werewolf let out another howl, and the members of the pack trembled in fear. Just then, Alpha Wade emerged from his tent. He was a large, imposing figure, and he looked directly at the werewolf. "What do you want?" he asked, his voice firm and steady. The werewolf simply snarled in response, and it took a step forward. The members of the pack braced themselves, knowing that a fight was about to begin. But Alpha Wade was not afraid, he was ready to protect his pack at all costs.

He looked at the panting messenger rushing toward them. "Kill her? No." Solanke said. Death was too easy for Velda. The wolf, covered in dark red blood but grinning triumphantly, reported, "We've captured eighteen and killed the rest." Solanke slowly reached out and caught a snowflake. It melted in his palm. Then, as if performing a ritual, he closed his eyes for a moment, opened them sharply, and declared, "All Western Tribes' werewolves, withdraw from Darkclaw Town."

“I guess they’ve already started, huh? And it’s only the first day. Then again, it’s to be expected.” I frowned. “Started what?” Tessa tilted her head. Her lips curved, but there was no humor in her smile. “The game,” she said. A breeze rustled the banners hanging from the stone posts. In the distance, the students looked like gods and monsters. “There’s a system,” she continued. “Every werewolf plays the game at Elite—whether they admit it or not. And there are only three ways to earn points: strength, intellect, and... sex.” I blinked, trying to process it. “Sex?”

I noticed a large black Alpha wolf but didn’t recognize him. ‘Alpha Maxwell’s wolf,’ Titan supplied. ‘The one beside him is Eli’s wolf.’ They weren’t required to come out and help, but I was thankful that they were here. Hopefully, we could end up minimizing both damage and casualties. We had highly trained warriors, but there had to be at least a hundred just from what I’d witnessed thus far. Anything was possible if that number was a lowball. Titan ripped another throat out. Another wolf jumped on his back before he could move away. Its claws sunk into Titan’s body as its teeth sank into his shoulder, ripping a chunk of flesh from him. Fuck! That was painful.

It was obvious that he wasn’t in a good mood, war was looming around the corner and he didn’t even know anything about the people that were threatening to attack. Herrick adjusted his glasses, cleared his throat and began. “Good day ladies and gentlemen,” he started and paused a little bit for the audience to respond. “The White Wolf is more than just a myth. Infact, it’s not a myth at all, it is very very real. They are a rare breed of werewolf, born with unmatched strength and abilities. Their power is said to rival even the strongest alphas in the werewolf world.” He paused for a few seconds again and allowed what he had just passed across to really digest into the audience.

A werewolf armed with a firearm stepped forward, his stance defensive. I climbed out of the vehicle, my voice steady and commanding. “I am Alpha Jack. A few days ago, I sent word to your Alpha that the Blue Lagoon Pack would be sending reinforcements to support your alliance.” The werewolf hesitated before fully stepping into the moonlight, revealing his battered form. One of his pant legs hung empty, and he leaned heavily on a cane while gripping his weapon with the other hand. His face was partially wrapped in gauze, while the exposed side was streaked with dried blood.

But no—each cry was different, desperate, raw. We turned a corner, and I saw the source. A werewolf—massive, silver-furred, twice the size of Kaid in wolf form was strapped to a tilted metal slab. A thick collar crackled with blue lightning around his neck. Every time he snarled or tried to move, electricity surged through his body. His fur singed. His claws scraped helplessly against the restraints. His eyes met mine—wild, terrified, begging. I swallowed hard. “Kira… what is this?”

Accompanied by a burst of miserable cries, Hecarim's face became increasingly ugly. "Hurry up! Retreat!" Hecarim raised his hand somewhat feebly, his face pale, commanding his men to withdraw. However, it was obviously a bit too late, and quite a few werewolf soldiers fell under Talon's sharp claws. Their throats were penetrated, blood scattered all over the ground, the color of life slowly disappearing from their pupils.

I go through the company database on the wereweb, to see who has coders and then I can go from there. The wereweb is kind of like the darkweb, you need to know how to get there, but once there it’s the same as the normal internet, just meant for the wolf/Lycan community. There's the vampweb, faeweb, superweb etc. As cool as superweb sounds it is literally just where all species can converge and interact together. The only interesting places to go there are the chats though, lots of drama, don’t need a telenovela when you have access to that site! The biggest difference is the fact that, as far as I am aware, there is very little in the way of iniquitous intentions on there.
