This was a problem. I slowly rolled off my desk and went to the sink to cleanse myself of as much of the telltale signs of sex as I could before I put myself back together. As I fastened my bra, my eyes caught sight of the books that Max had shoved out of his way. There was one lying open and displaying a drawing of a werewolf. I walked back to my desk and looked down at the book as it rested, face up, on the floor. Was someone trying to tell me something?

I flipped the second page open and began reading. “After finding his mate and claiming her as his, the alpha moved to make it known under the crimson moon.” Though I had a foggy mind while reading the first sentence, my mind put the words together to make sense. This was a werewolf lore book just like the ones I’ve devoted myself to reading in the last week, but unlike those, this was a children’s book. I snapped it shut, got up, and hurried away from Zion’s room. I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed.

You'll understand this more as you read the book! In addition, I only use the term 'werewolf' in this story but they are not the traditional lore that is 'cursed' or a 'beast'. They are more of shifters, like of lycans who can control their transformations from humans to wolves or vice versa. To put it simply, they are like the 'wolves' of Twilight with special gifts so I call them werewolves in this book. Thank you and enjoy reading!
