Craving the wolf
Her long trench coat flared behind her, streaked in gore, the fingers of her metal arm clenched tight around the wolf's neck.
With a casual twist, she crushed its windpipe. The sickening crunch echoed off the walls. The werewolf's eyes rolled back, and it went still.
She dropped the corpse at her feet like trash and looked up, eyes gleaming with something that made my blood run cold. I've never actually seen her at war, seen her like this and it was terrifying. More that anything she look excited as if she was enjoying the carnage.
"Little wolf, little wolf," she purred, her voice like broken glass wrapped in silk, "where have you been hiding?"
