“Then we ate pizza and we talked for hours. Around five I put a roast in the oven and at seven I finished the meal with Owen and Liv sitting in the kitchen, talking to me. We ate supper around eight. Then he and Liv snuck off for a bit to make out behind the workshop.” Lacey turns to Owen, “By the way, pick a better hiding spot, son. Two skinny little trees are not enough to hide your big old frame from sight, but you do get points for trying.”
