I watch as they hold onto each other and knew something was wrong. The doctor walks away and I walk up to them. "How is she," I ask in a choked whisper as tears roll down my cheeks. "She has a collapsed trachea and put her in a medically induced coma. They said if you didn't show up when you did, she'd be dead," Mandy chokes in broken sobs. "They arrested him Shawn, they arrested him for attempted murder."
