Jack snapped his finger and a huge guy comes out with Jakes, he is blindfolded. “Jakes! Are you okay?” I asked. He only nodded since his mouth was also tied. The huge guy brought Jakes to us and collected the Rubik’s Cube. The huge guy got to Jack and gave them to him. “You are supposed to give them to me not him,” Mr. Edwards barked. “I’m sorry Mr. Edwards, but I can’t let you have this,” Jack said, pointing his gun at Lucas and Mr. Edwards. We wanted to leave and he turned the gun to us and shouted, “No one leaves the building!”

He didn’t come into the living room; instead, he went into the kitchen. Twisting my body around, I watched as he opened the fridge, grabbed a water bottle, and chugged it until it was gone. After he threw it away, he took two more bottles of water out of the fridge. Chewing on my lower lip, I considered asking him again, but I wasn’t brave enough. A small part of me thought about letting what happened at the event disappear so I could pretend as if nothing happened. “I need to talk to you.” Zydan spoke as he exited the kitchen.
