My body is now wrapped in black souls and my eyes are completely red. “Darren...blood...death!” I throw myself at the vampire and hit him violently and said, “You could have run away...it was better...but hitting my man...is digging your own grave!”

Surprisingly, the wound didn’t heal. “What the fuck did you use, cunt? Why is this cut not healing?” The vampire was furious to see the blood dripping from the slash and, being a vampire, he saw for the first time that a cut was not healing. Elsa didn’t answer, nor did she halt. Her side-eye noticed the knife shining brightly as Gabriel had said the knife feasted on blood and got powerful more. Elsa pounced like a lioness who displayed her grief with her action. Her hand went down with the knife and slashed up his chest, making him bleed further.

“We were teasing. I guess you really need a taste of pain.” They were not wrong. Five vampires against her without a weapon. They could get her. At once, they zapped. Motion swirled, they were going to tear her flesh. These vampires were out of their minds. They screamed. They didn’t get a chance. The group dispersed.

Tyler asked. "They usually turn into a vampire." Ethan answers. And Tyler looked at me with wide eyes. "I'm already half vampire." I say. "What happens when a werewolf/vampire hybrid gets bitten by a vampire?" Tyler asked. "Nothing. It just hurts like a bitch for a few hours." Angelo says coming out of the house. "There you go. Nothing is going to happen to me. It just hurts." I say. And Angelo walks over and looks at the wound. "It only hurts this much because the vampire that's already inside of her is fighting this new vampire that is trying to come out. But it won't work. I've been bitten heaps of times. Mostly by those guys." He says pointing to his siblings and I laugh.

Slowly, they advanced towards me, each step filled with sinister intent. Trembling with fear, I backed away, my body betraying me. I knew that screaming would be futile in this desolate thick forest, where no one would hear my desperate cries for help. A tortured scream escaped my lips as one of the vampires grabbed me and sank his fangs into the delicate skin of my neck. Excruciating pain flooded my senses and a tortured scream ripped out of my lips. The pain surpassed any agony I had experienced in my entire life. But as quickly as it appeared, the pain vanished.

“You’re bleeding!” It was uglier than I thought it was. It looked like the scar had broken open at the seams, probably from all the moving around he’d been doing. It was oozing dark blood that smelled oddly sweet. If I had any doubt about vampires being different creatures, I couldn’t doubt it now. I pulled out alcohol and gauze to stop the bleeding and fresh bandages. “It will heal on its own.” “You’ll get an infection.” He laughed. “No, I won’t. It will simply hurt for a little while.”

“I don’t know what to do. What should I do?” The pain that consumed my body was so intense that I almost passed out. Vampires had a very high threshold for pain. For one to scream from it, assured everyone within hearing distance that the pain was super intense. The scream I emitted was long and high pitched and so loud I questioned if they could hear it back at Nikodem’s cabin.

Why does it hurt so much? Is it finally time for me to experience some unfavorable karma? I did not ask for this, and it has made me out to be a monstrosity.
