Sarah got up, wiped her eyes, and looked between the wall and her book. “I’m a student,” she said, voice trembling. “I’ve read a lot of theories about your story. Some think the ending is hidden in the very first part.”
“The first part?” Julian asked. “The car accident?”
“No,” Sarah replied, flipping through pages, “before that—‘The Girl without a Story.’ The one born without a plan.”
