He was just staring at the moon clearly in deep thought. She decided to lie down the mat to look at the stars. “Tell me a story” she requested then snuggled in Daniel’s arms. It’s getting chilly now and she finds Daniel’s warm body comforting. “Okay. I’ll tell you a story. You may or may not believe it” he started. “Why does your story always start with ‘you may or may not believe it’?” she noticed his funny way of telling a story. “Because it’s a good story nonetheless. It’s up to you to believe it” he gently smiled while tucking her hair behind her ear.

It wasn't what I had hoped for myself, but it was a start, and I was determined to make it one way or another. Flipping through the pages, I immersed myself in the story that didn't have legs yet, and a sense of pride washed over me. It wasn't ready to be drafted yet, but it was coming together, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Once I returned to the place I’d left off, I quickly remembered why it wasn’t finished yet. There was something I needed to add. An inciting event, or an object that would help steer the story in a new direction. Leaning against the counter, I gazed out the front door and watched as one of the streetlights flickered on while dusk settled in. There wasn’t a single car

A possibility. The feeling that the story was not over. That it had barely begun.
