It seems like the answer to his questions would be in this big dome of a library. But thinking about the volume of books in the room, he felt a big problem. “How in the world should I find the information I am looking for when there could be a million types of books here?” he screamed in frustration. “SHHH, you don’t have to shout, considering that this is your first day, I will let it pass” Earth heard someone speak.

Melody's POV It was my first time in the witches' main library so I was still overwhelmed by its beauty. It smelled like potions and spells as I sniffed the air intently, trying to get more familiar. My task was to find the book, so my mind shifted into the assignment. My eyes squeezed as my face moved along the rows, reading each title aloud. "Shhhh," I heard as it echoed throughout the library. "Sorry," I said back feeling silly. Suddenly my eyes settled on the book that read demon destruction.

Inside: Not yet. I began scanning the shelves. Titles of all kinds filled the aisles. My hand slid across the spines at my eye level. A hard-covered green book smelling faintly of old paper drew my attention: The Origin of Elemental Sorcery. Then another—its gold embossed symbols of the four elements shimmering under the light: A History of Ignith, Hydros, Terragaia, and Glacius. Moving to the next shelf, I spotted a worn leather-bound book, edges frayed from overuse: Hybrid Wolves with Magical Signatures. And a thin one compared to the rest: The Forbidden Transition Between Elements.

I was eager to read every book they brought me since I felt so full now. I looked at the books in front of me and said, “These are quite a lot, huh.” With a sigh, I picked up the first book I saw and opened it. This appears to be an old book, yet it remains in fine shape. As I look at the front page, I see the title: ‘The Bloodsuckers, Shapeshifters, and Spellcasters.’ I grabbed another heavy book, as heavy as the first one. Its title, ‘The Realm of Lunaria’, convinced me to start reading this first. To readily grasp everything, I must first learn about their realm before I can even begin to know those mysterious beings.

“Oh my god! You got me the Harry Potter Series!” I rushed to the bookshelf and grabbed a copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. It was the only book I had read in the series and I had fallen in love with it. I had promised myself that I would buy more but I never got the money. “Yeah, girl,” she said smugly, “and I got you some others you might like…” I saw the other books and my jaw dropped. It was almost all the books on my reading wish list.
