The source of the flames, the torch lay fallen on its side. “Gods, what have I done?!” Mare cried, her eyes wide with panic as she shot forward to retrieve the burning torch. Perci grabbed her and at the same time, the wooden book in his hand slipped between his fingers, landing in the flames. “No!” he screamed. Perci reached forward to save it, ignoring the rising fire as it consumed the dusty, dried pages of books, gaining more fuel to grow angrier.

My mind is racing with different thoughts – where is Jason , and is Nicole with him? I finally get up to our level and I slowly walk in the abandoned hall way. Its so silent , except the light chattering I could hear from the hall. I continue to walk until I hear two voices. I can not hear what they say , but all I know is that the voices belong to Jason and Nicole - and that is coming from his office which is at the end of the passage. Trisha heard Mrs Perry complain as she glided through shelves teemed with ages-old books before she could be pulled into hours-long conversation with the old lady. The other students were as good as foes. “Do you think he saw me with Max?” He asked as they rounded a corner that showed the Generals Building afar off.
