I Will Find You

I Will Find You

Ecology, Cearen would have called it. The first almost happened on Day 147. It started in my hands. The bones in the back of them ached in a way that made me want to bite the ache out. My nails thickened like they’d been given orders. I stared at them and felt the wrongness of it, not morally but mechanically. Like a gear teeth that don’t fit grinding. Maeve set a bowl down hard enough to startle me back from the edge. “Breathe,” she said. “Back off. Don’t pull. Let it pass.”

The Fierce Return Of An Omega

The Fierce Return Of An Omega

I took a deep breath and took a few steps inside, touching my stomach unconsciously. The air was cooler here, thick with the scent of old stone and forgotten power. It looked like a small inner chamber itself, old books littered around, cobwebs cut across every corner in the room, it was old, it was stuffy, I took few more steps and stepped on something rather unusual A skeleton!! Screaming for help, immediately I held back my mouth as I was covered in sweat, fear gripping me as I looked back to study the shadow that lurked around, I felt it and I was used to listening to my instincts.

Resisting The Savage Alpha Brothers

Resisting The Savage Alpha Brothers

I slammed my palms against the ground in an uncoordinated rhythm until my fingers finally closed around something solid. The moment I touched it, I froze. My veins pulsed at the contact, and a sense of eerie familiarity washed over me. I knew what this was. "Bone," I whispered. "El Silbón." He had left a message before he departed, and there was no doubt who it was for: me. The bone was a sign. Either he had come to claim a soul from this household—Lana—or this was the clue I had been asking of the Goddess all along.

The Boy Who Fought With Bones

The Boy Who Fought With Bones

Raider looked back and forth at the bones and their owner kind of hoping the latter would tell him which bone to pick. After a moment of silence under the observing gaze of the spirit, Raider randomly reached for the longest bone there, the humerus. It felt exactly like the tibia before it. Warm, almost alive, but unmovable. He looked up and his eyes met the spirit's. He could see the patience of a teacher in them. "Observe. Feel. Don't just pick randomly." said Master Bones softly. Raider let go of the bone and stood up straight. He felt strange. No one had ever spoken to him in such a way. It felt... different, but a good different.

When Pain Runs Bone-Deep

When Pain Runs Bone-Deep

"Mrs. Simpson, I beg you. Please tell me where Summer is buried. I'll do anything you ask me." "Absolutely not," Mom said mercilessly. Andrew had tried to get my skeleton back to the neurosurgical department, but unfortunately, since it was a specified donation, it couldn't be changed. I didn't particularly care—it was a donation, so it didn't matter where it was placed. Yves did not think so. He disinfected the spot that he had prepared for my skeleton at least eight times. It was weird; I'd never thought that I would be able to see my entire skeleton.

My Lord Alpha

My Lord Alpha

she informed them. They quickly nodded, giving her a go-ahead. Sabine reached up to one of her cabinets, pulled out a large hefty book, and dumped it on the kitchen counter, then shuffled in her apron and pulled out a string of dry bones. Bernice peered at the bones, observing it oddly. She could not place what creature the bones were gotten from, human or beast. Nevertheless, all she was interested in was what it could do.

How does this book have such low views? This is a masterpiece! This might be my first time reading a werewolf story so zealously without missing any details. Such a breath of fresh air and unique storyline from the other books in this app. The alternate universe, the timeline, everything is so good.

When I saw the title "The Lord Alpha" , I was like 'what the hell is this book about?' It never disappointed though. Wayne and Candice so much reveals how twisted our fates could be at times and I kept imagining how it'd be if I suddenly uncover my spouse was a mermaid or something weirder even...

Blood and Bones

Blood and Bones

My father thinks I spend my nights reading. That’s not entirely a lie. Just not books. This room is mine in a way no other room in this house is mine. The rest of the townhouse is my mother's taste — warm and beautiful and expensive, every surface chosen to project exactly the image the Conti family wants projected. My room looks like the inside of my head. Whiteboards on two walls, half of them network maps, the other half cipher keys I've already cracked. A punching bag in the corner worn to gray leather at center mass. Gun cabinet beside the closet — three weapons, combination lock. My father knows about two of them. I find the thread at 3:12 a.m. A routing number. Buried six layers deep,

The Game of Breaking Bones

The Game of Breaking Bones

The bag was full of dry, yellowed strands of fallen hair. Julian opened the diary with shaking hands. *Tried the new drug today. It hurt so bad. Every bone in my body was shaking. The doctor said my liver can't take much more. But Julian's leg can't wait any longer. I have to earn more money.* *Tonight Julian brought me a baked potato. So warm and sweet. I told him I'd already eaten, but the truth is I hadn't had anything all day. Watching him enjoy it made everything worth it. Even if I die someday, as long as his leg gets better, I'd do it all again.*
