REGRET THE HUNGRY GOD

REGRET THE HUNGRY GOD

Free. Don't, Margot's voice pleaded. It was smaller now. Frightened. The confidence she'd worn like a crown was cracking. You don't understand what you're holding. That bone is older than the curse. Older than the Voidborn. It doesn't just eat regret. It eats meaning. Everything you've learned. Everything you've become. Gone. "And what have I become?" I whispered. The stones hummed around me. The symbols carved into their black surfaces glowed faintly, pulsing in rhythm with the bone. They didn't answer my question. They didn't need to. I already knew the answer.

Kidnapped by My Sister's Biker Mate

Kidnapped by My Sister's Biker Mate

A kid I carried while she was little, today I almost lost control when she tried to ride with bones. Just the thought of her having another man's scent on her, mixing with the lilac on her, had bullets shooting through me. Something is seriously wrong with me, and deep down I couldn't help thinking, the faster I got rid of my troubles, the easier my life would get. Luckily Mika stepped up, or…. My grip tightened even more, I had to end this, all of it, before it became a mountain I couldn't pass. ‘Bones’ I mind linked

The Remorse Deep in the Bones

The Remorse Deep in the Bones

Ever since I was young, I knew that my parents' work was unique. My father was a detective who had solved many major cases, while my mother was a forensic artist who was capable of finding clues from the victim's bones. Together, they solved numerous cases. Their most famous one was the White Bone Case five years ago. It was a case about a criminal gang who abducted and killed homeless people before using their bones to smuggle drugs. Since these were real human bones, they could easily avoid being caught by claiming these bones as medical materials.

To the Bone

To the Bone

The candles flickered, casting shadows that reached like arms. Outside, the fog had returned. It crept under the cracks in the Bone House walls, quiet and slow. Underneath their boots, the floorboards trembled. Just once. A heartbeat in the bones. And they all knew: the dreams were only the beginning. Something old had noticed them. And it had started to listen.

ALPHA ACADEMY:MARKED BY FOUR

ALPHA ACADEMY:MARKED BY FOUR

“I am what he became. What the Oath carved from him. What he carved from himself.” It stepped closer, bones clicking. “I am the memory of him you carry.” Lyra’s throat tightened. “Why show me this? Why him?” “Because bone is truth.” The skull leaned forward. “Blood lies. Flesh bends. Only bone remembers.” Lyra took a shaky breath. “And what does it remember about me?” The skeleton lifted a hand, each joint turning with delicate menace. “Everything.” *** The world erupted. The skeleton lunged faster than thought. Lyra dodged instinctively, rolling across the bone floor as shards of ribcage cracked where she’d been standing. The creature struck again, and again—each swing heavy with the force

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

Accordingly, it was the very same thing that was in Zephyr’s palm. This place was supposedly a barren land, with no plant in anyone’s sight. However, this place of land filled with grass had many white bones. They were human bones, mixed with the parts of other creatures. It was an incredibly weird sight. Suddenly, a bout of noises rang out. The noises had an obvious pattern to them. The ground beneath also shook at its arrival.

Santana Sylvester
Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

Sold to the Lycan King

Sold to the Lycan King

My body doesn’t belong to me. Something else does. The Bone Seer slithers in the cracks of my skull, whispering promises I never asked for. She carries fire. She carries the end. You will be her knife or her coffin. I try to shut it out, but it crawls deeper, scratching its words into bone. Images slam against me: Morwenna with blood dripping from her crown; a child with eyes like silver flames; armies kneeling in ash. I want to wake. I want to warn her. My chest convulses, useless, but in the darkness, I swear I feel a hand—small, burning—press against mine.

The Miracle Doctor Won’t Be A Kept Man

The Miracle Doctor Won’t Be A Kept Man

"Don't worry! I'm a doctor. I'm not afraid!" With a faint smile on his face, he headed toward the bones at a quicker pace. Zachary looked utterly bewildered, not understanding Kiran's intentions. As for Frank, he had already figured out that those skeletons had deadly poison from the School of Venom, or perhaps it was the snake venom from that snake. However, he did not understand what was going on. Kiran walked up to the bones and kicked them with his foot. He even kicked over one of the freshly deceased, surprised to see the person's back already rotting while the bones remained intact.

Angel Of Death: Hell is empty, all the devils are here

Angel Of Death: Hell is empty, all the devils are here

So thin, so bony . His panting breath stumbled when he felt clear bumps under his palms where - if his memories weren't very fooled - shouldn't be. Then it dawned on him. Bone. It was his bones that he felt. A little frightened, he raised his head and peeked timidly down at himself. He looked like a living skeleton. His ribs and hip bones were clearly visible under his white, parchment-like skin. Every tendon caught his eye. Horrified, he dropped back again and stared in disbelief at the shattered ceiling. He needed food immediately.

Love Beyond Realms

Love Beyond Realms

I took a deep breath to control my raging temper. Then, I went back to Mikael's bedroom. He was curled up on his side, on the bed. My eyes widened in alarm when I saw that he was shivering so hard. I got into bed and wrapped my arms around him after placing an extra blanket around us. I pressed a kiss to his jaw and rested my head against his hard chest. "Do you think she can help us for real?" I asked and he let out a shaky breath. "I don't know, Athena. I really don't know. She said she has a book which describes the realm of smoke and bones. But, I don't know what to believe" Mikael croaked. I genty patted his back and let out an exhale.
