The whole movie Mandy kept on covering her face and screaming profanities about how I made her watch such a gory and according to her 'disgusting' movie. People in the cinema kept on hushing her for screaming and disturbing their movie.

After we ate, Josh suggested going to the cinema. "I don't want to," I quickly told Josh when he stopped at the ticket counter for a movie there. "Why?" I cleared my throat before responding, "I don't watch scary movies." "Are you scared?" he asked with a smile. "N-No!" I quickly replied. "I just don't like those kinds of movies," I reasoned, even though the truth is I'm really scared. "But I want to watch this movie." I cleared my throat again. "I-let's watch something else..." I said and glanced around. I'm not really into movies, so I don't know what's showing now. And as I looked around, I saw another movie option. "Let's watch that."

“So? What’s your poison?” My eyes scanned the options. A superhero sequel, an animated comedy, a historical drama that looked painfully boring, and...The Veil, a horror movie with a poster featuring a pale, long-fingered hand reaching out of a shadow. I’d always had a love for horror. The jump scares, the palpable tension, the way you could scream in the dark and no one would think you were weird. It was the perfect release. “That one,” I said, pointing before I could second-guess myself.

I know, I know, I Don’t seem like the type of guy whose favorite movie is Disney. But there I am; I am different from others.

She is the first lady he has seen who loves Horror movies. "I don't like romantic movies, because it's just filled with love and tears.
