I lay on my bed and stared at the ceiling for a while, but when that refused to calm me, I picked up the phone to call Reed Taylor. “’Sup?” he said. Just the sound of his voice made me smile. “Hi,” I said. “How are things with you and your invisible presence?” He laughed. “Good. Its round yellow eyes look around frantically. I feel a chill running down my spine, seeing how disgusting it is. "In the Demon Realm, these are called Carcurus; they are low-level creatures that find a victim and stick themself on a host sucking the life force out of them."

My eyes flashed down and then back up so quickly that I didn't even get a good enough look to see if he was affected by what we were watching, or if that was just how the fabric of his pants naturally bunched from the position he was in. My second glance was longer, a lot longer. There was nothing. Absolutely nothing. Did demons even have the same reproductive parts as humans? They had to have something based on the circle he ruled over, right? Or perhaps that was why it was Hell, to begin with. How long would it take her to fall asleep? Would she feel it coming over—

*Narrator* Something stirs in the underworld as a massive spike in demonic energy is felt throughout the castle corridors. One demon goes in search of the power spike and spies a young girl who can wield both demonic and witch like powers and he secretly wonders if she is who he's looking for. He follows her closely and watches her from a distance before losing her in a large crowd and returning to the underworld more frustrated than before. Luna’s POV:

Olivia lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She replayed the events of the evening in her mind, trying to piece together what had happened. She remembered the fear and confusion she had felt when the demon appeared, the way it had seemed to materialize out of thin air, its eyes fixed on her with an intensity that made her skin crawl. As she lay there, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She sat up, her heart racing, and looked around the room. There was no one there, but the air felt heavy, as if someone was standing right beside her.

I questioned. Desmond's eyes squinted as he stared into space, trying to remember something. “I only saw two demons, and they are on the upper floor with Benedict Astor and the others.” “How is that possible? I thought they were hiding a Satan’s temple somewhere here. Did you check the basement? They didn’t take us there on the house tour.” “There is only dust and broken furniture in the basement.
