“The room was enveloped in darkness, there was a sound of droplets hitting the ground, the room smelled like a rotting corpse. There was a tapping on the door like someone was baning in morse code. The sound stopped when a large metal door opened a monster showed up. There was a pounding against the wall and one of the lights flickered on, the light brightened the room. But the people in the room were better off not knowing who put them there, the monster walked closer to the people chained and shackled against the wall. They kept screaming why are you doing this to me?'' Let me out. I have a family. Please do not do this to me. The Monster did not say anything to the man he just walked over

I was laying face up on my bed reading James Patterson's Along Came a Spider, when my dad opened the door till its limits. He has been doing this for the past few weeks in the hopes of catching me raping a nun one day, I think. 'Hey dad'. I croaked out. 'Zayn, shouldn't you be asleep?' 'I guess I should but I did that all day so I'm kind of spent'. He coughed awkwardly and I realized my mistake.

"You're saying… you killed the Underworld's Alligator-Turtle?" Omar gulped with great difficulty. Another person chimed in, "That level three monster… hidden in the dangerous Lost Soul River?" Maya also gasped, and she widened her eyes, staring at Caspian, "The Underworld's Alligator-Turtle… that's surrounded by a group of the Armor-Breaker Fishes?" Even though Xander thought it was shocking, he pondered for a moment before saying,"I am not doubting you, but the news is astonishing."

He never gave her much of a tour, he'd just asked her to wait downstairs each time. Ashleigh walked down the hall and walked into a bedroom. It looked like a typical boy's bedroom. Blue paint coating the walls, posters of cartoons and hockey celebs covered the paint, a green chest of toys and beside it an extra large box of Lego. In the centre of the room, a single bed, small in size, covered in Ben 10 sheets. She smiled to herself. "No wonder why he never lets me up here," she told herself. She went to the wardrobe and opened its doors. Inside were old clothing and at the bottom a box. She pulled out the box and sat on the floor beside it. She opened the box and saw a DVD cover.

Still in her pink pajamas, Juana hopped down her tall bed and made for the door. She wanted to see why her dad hadn't come knocking on her door that morning to say happy birthday. "Or could I have missed his knock?" Juana asked herself. "No I was awake most of the night" she said to herself again. Everywhere except the floor and the wall in her room was pink.

I muttered, scared that if the monsters spread how I had come to Raven's room, it'd get to the hearing of both Lucian and Thorne. "Is that what you want?" he asked softly, cupping my face in his cold, steady hands. My eyes reached for his, and I nodded my head. "Alright. I will be right back. Once I talk to them, they won't say a word." With that, he went out of his room. With just one word from him, every monster on the fifth floor came out from their various rooms. Somewhere were vampires, ghouls, and somewhere dragons. I stood by the door, listening to the conversation he was having with them.

I stammered, and he kissed the top of my head. Moments later, Annie knocked on our bedroom door, wanting to stay with us. “Can I come in and sleep with you guys tonight?” She asked her father when he opened the door for her, his eyes shining. “Aren’t you too big to sleep with mommy and daddy?” Jason asked her. “But there's a monster under my bed,” she said with a scared look. “Sweetheart, monsters don’t exist. They’re just stories people made up to sell souvenirs,” Jason replied, but I cut him off gently.

Abby "Mommy, I'm scared." I watch as my mother and father shift on their bed, rolling over to opposite sides to turn on their own lamps. They slept in the middle, holding each other as if there were nothing else in the world. "Abigail?" My mother's sweet voice called out to me. "What's going on?" My father's rough voice booms shortly after. I adjust my stance, hugging their doorway closer to my body. "There's a monster under my bed." I can hear my mother whispering softly to my father, followed by a soft deep chuckle.

Though the monsters that made that sound were terrifying to behold. What I was staring at were creatures that resembled hybrid experiments gone wrong. The monsters were as tall as the trees in the forest. Their arms were so long they used them to walk along with their two legs, like the gorillaens I had once seen in the zoo back at Coven Community.

I pop the 'p' "But before you go searching for him, I need your help. A really enormous spider just crawled under my bed right now—" I hear the shriek first before Chocolate crawls out of my bed, his face twisted in pure horror as he dusts out the phantom spider from his body, doing a small dance while he does so, though he stops he sees the look on my face, his making a sad one "No fair"
