Third Wheel

Taylor
At the end of February, as usual, the sound of the rising garage door signals my alone time, complete for the day. Not that Nya isn’t a great distraction, but human interaction is lacking in my daily routine. Nya waddles as her little tail excitedly wags towards the garage entrance. I ask her to sit, which she does with tail still brushing against the tile floor. When Jackson enters, she immediately raises her front paws as if doggy-paddling in the air. This is how she begs for anything and everything. Right now, she wants his full attention.
