Sadie A week after Ralph’s arrest, things finally felt as though they were getting back to normal. Ralph was charged with breaking the restraining order. True to his word, Cyrus didn’t press any other charges. Ralph would spend a little time in jail before his trial, and then, it was up to the courts to decide his fate.

He asked curiously. "Exactly like that, I want you guys to return to the pack. Your cabin is exactly like you left it and I will have it cleaned up before your arrival, there is a welcome back ceremony this Saturday for all the banished people that wants to return and that's when I will be announcing the new laws and pack rules. I need you guys back." I said truthfully as tears rolled down Raphael's face, it hurts that I let him leave in the first place.

“Alright, Mr. Funny. Let’s get back to the pack house.” As we drove back to the pack house, the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over the landscape. The quiet between us was comfortable, a gentle reminder of how far we had come in our relationship. Ralph broke the silence with a playful tone in his voice. "Since the date didn’t go as planned again, how about we do something more fun? Just the two of us, in our... you know, our beloved bedroom." He glanced over at me, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Besides, the weather’s getting chilly."

Instead, I left Nik’s lap and went back to my seat, trying to pretend I wasn’t heavily affected by everything we just did, like I wasn’t breathless and trembling. “How about you join us for the weekend?” Ralph asked instead. “W-what?” “Join us,” he repeated, more steadily this time. “We can make this weekend worth your while. No camera, no exes. Just peace.” I looked between the two men. They were serious about this. “That wouldn’t be appropriate…” “Why wouldn’t it be?” His eyebrows furrowed. “There’ll be no rules, no expectations. Just forget everything for a few days.”

After the seemingly long pause, Ralph added, “Let it be on the record that I killed them.” “How long do we have to keep telling this story?” asked Ben wearily. Ralph groaned, “Not again….” “Don’t ‘not again’ me…,” warned Ben with an agitated undertone. “You know the game plan—until we get the second tiers on board.”

He said with a smirk but I didn’t find it funny. There was no way I was sparring with him or anybody again with this new development. It might be just a friendly match but I might lose control again and end up actually killing the next person. “What? You scared?” Ralph asked, noticing my silence. “I can’t be scared of you. Last time I checked, I was the one that put someone on the hospital bed and not you.” I had to act it out so he wouldn’t notice anything odd. “This is just a phase, my Queen. I’ll soon be free again, and then I’ll be the one getting rooms for you.” He said and I chuckled.

"I swear on everything I have left, you will freaking regret this." He smirked again. That same cocky, infuriating smirk. "We’ll see about that."

He waved his hands quickly and continued, "I’ll wash it when I go home." After speaking, he tilted his head, looked at her expression, and asked, "You’re not angry, right?" Heather shook her head. She bent down, put down the empty glass, and took two steps back, "Ralph, it's getting late. I need to go home." "Late? It's still early!" Looking at the time, Ralph said, "It's only after nine o'clock. The night is still young. Let’s go catch a movie?" She did not like the drinks, so a movie might have been a better idea. If they watched a horror movie, she might take the initiative to dive into his arms if she was afraid.

Ralph snorted before Draven could finish his words. "If by earlier you're referring to eight years ago, then you must be something else. But I forgive you anyways, I knew you couldn't do that to me with a clear mind." Draven nodded at his friend's words. "Would you like to be the Beta of this pack again?" Draven asked, his gaze hopeful. "Come on now, who else would fit in this post better?" Ralph replied with a wink and the duo shook hands. "So, tell me what's been going on in my absence." Ralph inquired as they walked into his mansion.

Zayn Dawson I had no idea why or how I had passed out but I woke up with a sharp pang in the back of my head. Most likely someone had clubbed me. A sucker punch. I was sure of one thing. It wasn’t the lunatic. My money was on the old crazy priest. Rafiki. It was him. The next time I saw him, I’d even the score. I just hope he didn’t die from what was to come.
