I tell my best friend. Ari picked out a slasher film for us to watch, and there's so much screaming I'm pretty sure my ears are already bleeding three minutes into it. The thing wasn't much scarier than what I already had to endure in real life, though, so I am more uncomfortable at it than scared.

“Yes, it is. So, you want to watch some T.V. or play a video game?” “Whatever you want to do.” I say with a smile. Aaron pats the bed beside him. “Do you like scary movies?” “I love scary movies.” I tell him as I sit on the bed next to him. “Good. Me too.” Aaron turns on a scary movie, and we settle into a comfortable silence as the movie begins. Scary movies always seem to suck at the beginning. That never seems to last long and as much as I love scary movies, I am also a big scaredy cat. An unexpected jump scare makes me scream and I cover my eyes with my hands.
