I shrugged a shoulder, "The having no wings thing is a big deal around here. It didn't take a genius to figure it out."
"I wish you didn't have to go through that," Sylvain grumbled, running his thick fingers through his damp curls.
"Ditto buddy," I snorted in dry amusement, making my way out of bed and into the bathroom, "you know, since you asked for a tour of the city, we might as well do that," I found myself calling out as I peeled off my clothes.
I turned the faucet and waited for the perfect temperature before moving beneath the spray. A moan of pleasure crawled up my throat when the heated water hit the twin mounds on my back where my wings once sat.
