RIVER BROWN “I hate to agree with Mother Goose back there but you want us to stop now this is the right time to blink twice, princess. I need you to blink twice right now before we lose our minds and hurt you” I nod sideways. His huge palm cradles my cheek pushing a few strands of loose hair from my face sweetly. “That wasn’t one of the choices. You blink twice for no or blink once for yes” I don’t even think. I blink once.

Her eyes boor into my heart as my breath hitches at her curious eyes she is trying to get a good look at something. When I came here to forget about her for few minutes, and it turned into me staring at her. If this staring contestant continues, I’ll go over to her college, grab her from there, and bring her home. But I can’t do that she will be in danger if that happens So, when I see her eyes close for a second to bink her eyes I close the window so fast and retract back away from the window to calm my emotions. * * * * * * * * * *

Our eyes connect and for the first time in my life, I see fear in his eyes. I try to blink, to see through the smoke, but it's gotten much harder now. I continually try to blink and look at him, until I feel them, overpower me. They soon shut down and I give into exhaustion, just when I hear, " Chloe no!!!!!!"

Spotting an empty chair, just a few chairs apart from Vicky, who nods my way, I find my way and slouch in my seat. It's gonna be a long night, that's all I tell myself as I watch Jack and Rose meet for the first time. With no time to get into the movie, I suddenly feel like I am being watched, as if eyes are trained on me and me alone, this time for certain it's not Vicky. Glancing over my shoulder, my eyes catch sight of him, one row apart. A minute or so passes with our eyes stuck on each other. I glance back around and I dare not look back again, with no intention of driving myself crazy under those alluring dangerous eyes.

The only difference is that you can probably see me clearly while my view of you was very blurry because of the tears. I have never cry this much ever. "Remember about the stars? When you miss me nor miss seeing my face, just look over the brightest star you pointed that night. That would be me staring at you straight in to your eyes. Straight like how straight I am staring at you right now. Means staring at that star is like staring at me in the eyes already." "Just take me with you."

I was nervous as hell, taking shallow breaths while he was wiping my eyes gently with something wet. "Open your eyes slowly, all the lights are dim so, you should be able to safely open them. But still if your eyes hurt I want you tell me immediately." He guided but my anxiety wasn’t letting me speak so, I just nodded. I took a deep breath and slowly opened my eyes. Everything was so blur. I couldn't focus on things. I couldn’t define the objects it was all just so strange. But slowly everything started to clear out. The first thing I saw was my hands on my lap. It felt so strange.

I have to tighten my fists to keep myself from snapping her out of her vision, especially when she doesn’t blink or gives me an indication that she can hear my words. All I can do is stand there and hope that she will make it out of this vision without issue.

Didn’t answer. Their laughter echoed as the camera clicked on, the red light blinking. I stared into the lens, unblinking.

But I let it wash over me, letting her words ignite the fire I had held in check. I stepped forward, slow, deliberate. Every step was calculated, a rhythm that made the crowd notice me finally, really notice me. I ignored the stares, the camera flashes, the whispers of the audience. My eyes locked on hers, unblinking, unyielding. Her smile faltered for a fraction of a second, and I could see the tiny fracture in her performance.
