I don’t know what I am. Here, now, walking among you in a small southern town in the United States of America; I have travelled from my birthplace in the highlands of Scotland many times, I have travelled the world and always find myself back here as though being tugged by an unseen force of destiny. My gut tells me that somehow, the something I have been looking for all this time is manifesting in the warmer climates and southern accents around me. My powers brought me across the sea yet I'm still searching for where I am supposed to go. I cannot shake the sense that I have missed that detail any time I have left these shores and gone elsewhere.

"Seriously. Thank you." The girl watched me eat, her expression softening a little. "Where did you come from?" she asked, her voice barely louder than the wind rustling the pine needles above us. "What's your origin?" "Far away," I said vaguely, leaning my head back against the bark. "A pack called Crimsonridge Pack. But I can't go back there." She opened her mouth to say something else, but before she could get the words out, a sharp, piercing whistle echoed through the trees from somewhere deep in the valley.

I inquired staring at her curiously. "How do you think I'm feeling? I speak weird, I dress weird and I do not understand anything. You speak of this place... Where is it?" She frowned deeply in thought. "New York! Is that where I came from? You also stated that I was involved in a major accident, how did it happen?"

I said and she chuckled. "That's good to hear. You can stay here till tomorrow so you can set out on your journey," she said and I nodded. I left home. I don't have anyone to call family now. Maybe it is time to trace back my origin. Who exactly am I? Who are the ones who birthed me? How did I end up on the grounds of White Mountain Pack?

“Not only have you stolen my heart, you’ve given yourself to me. That makes us bonded where we come from.” I considered confessing that I’d had sex with Marc too, but decided against it. Instead, I asked, “Where do we come from?” “Technically, from here, since we were born on earth,” he said, “but our parents or our parent’s parents came from a tiny planet in the Sirius galaxy. It’s hundreds of thousands of light years away.” “That’s pretty sci-fi,” I murmured as my eyelids grew heavy. “Why did they come here?”

“Fine.” I leaned back slightly. “Where are you actually from?” Her expression changed. “I knew that question would come eventually.” She said “Answer?” Nyra stared at the grapes in her hand. For a moment I thought she might refuse then she sighed “I don’t know.” I blinked. “What?” “I don’t know.” “You don’t know where you’re from?” She shook her head. “No.” I frowned. “How is that possible?” “My mother found me.” I looked at her in confusion

Plus that would definitely put me in the psycho stalker region of a relationship. I had work tomorrow, and if I did go back in there I wasn't going home alone tonight. I needed to concentrate on my work. New school and new year. I sighed and closed my eyes listening to the small amount of traffic around me. I live in the middle of nowhere and the population of this town is just shy of 4,500 people. I needed to get out of this town but I couldn't leave my insane family behind. They all live here. My parents? I have no clue who they are. I never met them, they passed away two days after I was born. My adopted family are the ones that raised me.

He asked his son and then looked at me. "Why are you here? What do you want with my sons? Where are you from?" He asked harshly, and I almost threw up from fear. I was sweating, and my vision was getting blurry. My heart was pounding in my chest while I tried to breathe. I saw Luna Tia try to make him relax and my breathing became laboured. I had the urge to run out of the place, but I was trapped. I promised myself that if I survived this, I wouldn't forget the feeling so I could be motivated to get out soon. "I am from Dome, Alpha, but my parents live in Geneva," I replied.

“Yes.” I had finally stopped searching for where I came from. Because I had already found where I belonged.

He said suddenly. I swallowed nervously. “I'm from Massachusetts, my parents are dead so I came to New York hoping for a good job.” “And siblings? Do you have a twin sister? Or any female relative who lived in LA?” He asked. “No. I don’t have siblings or relatives. I was an only child so were my parents.” I said quickly. He came closer to me and my heart fluttered. “You remind me of someone I met in LA.” He mumbled pushing my hair back from my face.
